Anybody know why Tinsley got a DNP in the Boston game? Is he injured, trouble with coach or wasthis just the lineup change that had to happen.
From starter to DNP in one overtime game is odd

Ty Corbin said he was banged up a little but was somewhat vague.
To be honest it kind of sounded like Ty talking about Raja when his DNPs started...

Corbin is a stubborn guy with a dog house that if you get in it then u simply dont play.

Honestly I like the move, only cause it involves burks getting lots of minutes. I just can't wait to see Burks finally make the starting cut and put Watson or Tinsley back at bench.
This didn't happen over night. If you watched any of the last several games, Tinsley was getting less and less quality time and was never being used in any clutch situations. Which is probably why Corbin is mad that the PG he put his team in with was doing anything.
Burks for Starter will be soon, he has gotten the minutes as of late!

Actually he has more minutes in every February game than both Tinsley and Watson, even though he hasn't started once!!

I'm still amazed the Jazz won games with Tinsley/Watson atthe helm; both have been playing between bad and inconsequential.

This is why I think the right starters and new Starter PG, Jazz could flip themselves into top 4 team next year!!!
I see the biggest problem with moving my 4 guys up into permenant starters, is finding replacements for them on bench. I mean right now, yes they make a bench who could beat any starter.
I rather see either tins or watson dnp and Burks finally get minutes. To me it makes absolutely no sense that you DNP Burks(earlier this year), and let two vets play, like tier 3 or 4 or whatever is the bottom tier.
Burks might not be Tier 2 or higher at PG, but he is young and athletic, which makes him look amazing compared to TInsley. As far as Watson staying on with Burks is not as easily seen. Tins seemed to be the better of the two. I would have chosen Burks for starter and Tins for bench.

So you're essentially saying that if we replaced EVERYONE with the right players that we could win a championship? Or are you saying that we're one player away, cause I can't tell...

if Tins is ok Corbin proved last night that he is complete idiot, we lost with Hawks mainly because there was no playmaker, ok it was not the only reason but definitely key one. I like Earl but for this moment he is not playing on nba level.

Well we got a nice line up both starter and bench, its not great but it can win games just not on the road! But if you replaced some of the weakest links with a top caliber player, we could be more consistent and win games all season, not just in January.
I mean just take away Tins and Watson and add Lawson and Miller. Its just weird cause we have so much talent yet we can't win games consistantly. I don't know what exactly it is, I just have a feeling with some proper adjustments we could move into that top team category starting next year. Replace Mo with some new nicer PG like Evans/Teague/Calderon and get a bench PG like Jack, and that would make a hell of a difference.

Tinsley was surprised to hear that and said he was fine. :stirs pot:

It makes no sense to start Burkes right now if Mo is about ready to return. Mo is our starting point guard, and it appears that Burkes will be the back up.
Sloan used to do this all the time. If a starter went down with injury, the 3rd string guy took his place so he didnt mess with the second unit. I agree with the theory.

Coach should of started Jeremy Evans or Kanter at PF and left favors as the first man off the bench.
However, Jeremy probably would of been subbed for real quick.

You're crazy. Favors played very well last night in a starting role.
Corbin should've played Marvin as backup PF last night rather than Kanter. Only our idiotic coach would put Enes Kanter on Josh Smith.

Locke said back just before the All-star break that Tinsley turned his ankle pretty good so that may be why.

Favors may have played well but the whole team seamed out of rythm. Favors playing a very key role off the bench may have caused not only the starters to no play well together, but may also have affected the bench since he was not their to clean up the mistakes of bench players,
