Get your rabbit's feet, horseshoes, four-leaf clovers out: Jazz are headed for the lottery and they're going to need some good fortune.

I am so down.....Imagine a franchise PG being drafted to this team...we could flip over like GS did this year. Where you bomb the season and take your medioacre team and turn them into a deadly assult of a team(Curry hit 50+ in NYC).

I like the idea, I also hope GS can die or Curry break and ankle so we can get GS's Pick in a lottery! Imgaine getting two lottery picks, ours in top 5, then GS's 8-14th pick.

I thought Smart or C.WIlliams were going to be like super awesome and #1 Pg's in Rookie season in the NBA.

I just keep telling myself Trey Burke is the sleeper for best rookie PG.

To be fair, Hollinger's playoff odds and B-R's playoff probabilities still have the Jazz making the playoffs with P of .614 and .687, respectively.

Robo-Hollinger has them projected to go 11-13 the rest of the way.
B-R projects them to go 12-12.

It will be interesting to see how the team responds when Mo returns. He is younger, faster and better than Watson and Tinsley.

However, the Jazz played 11 home games (record 9-2) and 17 away (5-12) with Mo in the first 1/3 of season, for a total 14-14 record.

The Jazz have played 19 home games (12-7) and 11 away (5-6) without him, for a total 17-13 record.

As I look at the remaining schedule, I wonder if the Jazz can win even half of their games.

Don't hold it against him. I don't think he has control of his body or mind when he types. For you realgm is a place with forums, for him it's an opium den.

i think the jazz have a shot to go 500 the rest of the season. The margin of error is so slim for the lakers i dont really see them catching utah. I have a gut feeling we will end up an 8th seed again and just get pummeled in the first round. We might take one game from San Antonio, but either way, its going to be another short post season for the jazz.

Last 10 for LAL 6-4
Last 10 for Gstate 3-7
Last 10 for Utah 5-5

If that trend holds for rest of season LAL catches Gstate. And right on our heals. Not much margin for error tho. It will be tight.

The important thing is not who wins or loses the playoff series, but that the fans fill up ESA for two bonus games.

I want to make an END OF YEAR Prediction thread, where we taken March and April and predict all the teams going for bottom 4 spots, which includes everyone between Denver and Dallas.

I figured we do pretty good predicting each month, and if we take a "worst and best" case scenario for each teams wins and losses, we could actuall figure out who will make the cut.

I started looking, and of the 6 teams(not including denver who is the 7th), the teams from GS to DAL, all face each other a dozen times, and those games alone could even out everything, and will make or break GS and HOU. I think because the fact that GS and HOU face the other three so many times, they are more likely to not make it.

The other three is LAL, DAL and POR. Right now Lakers are only 2 games behind, and POR and DAL are 4/4.5!!! I think the season is far from over, and were only beginning March Madness.

Lakers are now a half game ahead of the Jazz.

Jazz are two games up on Portland, three up on Dallas.

Well I wouldn't mind Lakers, Portland and Mav's passing up GSW and knocking them out of playoffs, but I didn't want it to happen to us.

What would really suck is if we don't even get the draft picks we want even though we blew our playoff spot. Remember we face POR and DAL again. And Warriors still face Rockets and Lakers. This season is not over.

Actually if you look in one of the threads I put stats on likelihood of 6th-12th was a complete toss up because of so many teams in this area facing each other with 20 games still to go.
