Best part of the game: Kanter shutting down Marc Gasol. Why this guy isn't a starter???

Great game. Fun to watch. The Jazz needed this and many more. Why can't they win on the road?

I thoroughly enjoyed this game and have no complaints about players or coaching.

Was Demarre hurt tonight? Or is he on Corbin's crap list with Tinsley?

I think Hayward at starter puts Carroll and Marvin up for grabs on SF position. I think with mo that leaves Foye and Burks the SG position, but with so many big guys, its easy to cut out the SG to just Foye and mix in Hayward.

I honestly think without Lowe and Jefferson, Corbin's defensive jazz team might have a shot, but its so hard to piece who is who in the responsibility column. I mean how can you not be great if you coached under Sloan for that many years...I mean you had to have been close and knew his mind.

why does everyone think tinsley is on corbin's $hit list? i don't know if his is or isn't, so i'm genuinely asking. just because he doesn't start anymore or play much? he's old, he is a 3rd PG, he had some tough time recently off the court in his personal life. and now with moe back + watson and burks there isn't much PT for him. what could the guy possibly do or complain about to corbin? ty made him a starter for most of this season and played him a lot.

Well, this is a great win, but we haven't done our job when we need and we have a very difficult time to reach playoffs.

Nice game to watch. In fact, even if we had lost at the end by a close margin it still would have been enjoyable. Nice hustle, effort and defense from pretty much everyone!

If the starters had played with the much energy and defensive hustle all season, the Jazz would probably be looking at the 6th playoff spot and we would all be handwringing about who to keep past this year and how.

the truth is that memphis is a relatively good match up for the jazz in terms of roster. the rely on their bigs and play half court sets, which is easier for the jazz to defend with its front court depth. their back court is just ok, so the jazz can keep up with them. they are much better defensively, but from a defensive perspective, it is easier for the jazz to defend them than many other teams.

Probably because he can't beat out Earl Watson who is all sorts of suck.

so....that's it? you'll hear no arguments from me regarding watson's levels of suckitude, but that's the only indicator? not much to go on there.
