What's funny is that the Jazz eventually traded (in 1992) for Humphries. I was at the draft "party" that day. It was pretty anticlimactic to show up only to see the Jazz trade their first round pick (who ended up being Lee Mayberry) along with Eric Murdock and Blue Edwards for Jay Humphries and Larry Krystkowiak.

In retrospect it was a pretty inconsequential trade, but I was pissed at the time.

Huh lol... well I was too young for the draft "parties" back in the day. You guys partied with a different kind of coke ;) j/k. All I remember is that they called him Blue... because that's what color he turned when he was choking as a kid.

I'd like to be the first to say I WAS THERE AT THE SALT PALACE when Stockton was picked. Everyone said " who ?"

Was anyone else there?
