http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/914 ... ir-offenseThe whole thing isn't about Utah (for once) but he does mention the Jazz and Corbin a few times:
Coaches with stale offenses — think Utah, Brooklyn, the Clippers — are hurting their teams, even if those teams have enough talent to produce some solid overall scoring numbers.
It has only been three years since Boozer left Utah, but from his perspective, the league in 2013 is almost unrecognizable from the one he left behind in Salt Lake City in 2010. "It's extremely different," he says. "In Utah, you were kind of on your own on defense. It was almost just one-on-one. There was no help concept. Here, there's a help concept, and it works."
Finally he pokes fun at one of Corbin's pocket handkerchiefs.

TRUTH. And Boozer is my least favorite player in the NBA.

he's not wrong, though what are the odds that a bad defender will not miss a system where he had to guard people 1-1, and will like a system where basically the entire team covers for his defensive deficiencies?

Boozer sounds like he enjoys hiding on defense in Chicago. His defense still keeps him off the floor when it matters.

Boozer is a better defender in Chicago than either Millsap or Jefferson is in Utah.

I would swap our two big men for any two big men in Chicago.
They are in playoffs and were not...

Long before I do that I'd swap coaches.

I'm not sure that's true, but it's definitely not relevant. Boozer is the one talking about help defense, and I think it's safe to assume he's getting the help instead of giving it.

Maybe I can just move to Chicago and act like I have been living there since the mid 90's, so that I can trade everything including my tenure as a Jazz fan!
Instead of continuing to let the Jazz be knee deep in flaws, I could be a top contender instantly....JP, real fans sit through the flames, so when you rise its all the better.
But I can't understand how we did not move forward since last year?! Were no better than we were a year ago, and now 1 year is lost, and the only great thing that came from it was experience for young guys, and even then we benched our #3 pick for only 15 minutes of play a game.

What an idiotic thing for Boozer to say. He was the biggest problem on defense. Millsap would make Chicago's defense much, much better and would probably finish games for them.
