What is it going to take to get this fool off the bench.
Corbin is clearly NOT the right coach for a young team like we are going to have going forward.
Could we start a petition or something?
What is the mood locally for all you local folks in SLC? Do the locals love the idiot or hate him?
Or is it just kinda meh?

There's a lot of hate for him. Most of the support for him seems to be coming from the radio station owned by the team and other team employees.
Hmmmm....
If they do fire him it'll probably be this week.

Its too bad, but I do not believe that we will make a change. But it is evident that Ty is just not equipped to innovate and keep pace with today's NBA.

I wanted to punch the radio every time one of the team-employed lackeys makes the excuse the Ty was in a difficult situation.
That's three years in a row this excuse has been used.
Guess what? Coaching in the NBA is "a difficult situation."

My problem with Corbin is that last year he was a decent coach, not great but waaaaaaaaaaay better than this year. For 90% of the season Corbin was a hack. Only through the last 15 games or so did he even start coaching. He probably made more substitutions during the final 15 games then the entirety of the rest of the season. The guy failed miserably to manage the games through out the year. Couple that with Marvin getting minutes over Demarre, failing to utilize Hayward in the starting lineup and simply throwing him into the second line-up to avoid having to actually coach, and the continued lack of play for Favors even after he PROVES his worth... Corbin failed this year. Failed hard.

well, i also would like to see him out.
my main issue with him is that he wasnt playing their best guys. how is it possible to create a motivating enviroment when the coach does not follow human fundamentals, making people respond to incentives?
im not talking about all those 4th quaters mistakes, which i admit are difficult decisions to make and must be made real quick; im talking about a basic thing.
so i think corbin does not suits for the coaching job. the millers should just do the obvious thing now, not wait until we turn into a pistons-like team.
Ty lead us to be the loser of two championships: out of the playoff and worst lottery odds.

That's one thing that has always infuriated me: Utah media creating the false choice between "playing the best guys" (i.e. the veterans) and "developing youth." In almost every case, the best guys ARE the youth!!
Ty Corbin's clueless.
As we all start lobbying for who we'd like to replace him, though, one thing to keep in mind: half the fan-base wanted Ty Corbin to take over, and they were pushing for Sloan to retire to prevent us from losing Ty to another team. So, for the vocal minority that wants Hornacek to step in, sometimes it hurts to get what you want.

You can all go to change.org and sign the petition to fire Tyrone Corbin. Sign it and let your friends know about it, so Jazz Nation can tell KOC and Greg Miller that we are unhappy. We need a 1000 signatures to be able to send it to Jazz Management.

Next year we get to hear how tough of a job Corbin has integrating all of the new pieces together. This job will be made even tougher by his lack of common sense and even the most minimal management skills.

I agree, I read an interesting article on SLCdunk.com why Tyrone Corbin just doesn't get it and they said he never was really a Stockton, Horny, or even Malone who could run the offense, he was an energy player. With this in mind they said he could never really be a decent head coach, only a good assistant coach.

Cannot stand him.
1. Most expense and worst dressed coach in the NBA
2. Does not know when to call a time out.
3. Does not know who to play and when to play them. (Like when Favors had 25pts 13 b as of the 3rd q but got benched the rest of the game including OT, cant think of who they were playing)
4. Does not have passion to defend his team. (how many technical did he have this season?)
5. Not well spoken just rambles.
6. Does not know how to utilize his players to their skill sets. (Favors is an obvious center)
7. Does not know how to bring a locker room together and just blames it on the FO for having all the free agency.
8. Makes excuses.
These are just a few reason off the top of my head. If we are going to have a team worth cheering for we need some major changes, starting with the coaching staff. Its hard for me to continue to cheer for a team that is just mediocre (and I have been a die hard Jazz fan for 28 years) from the coaching staff to the players. We have lots of cash to spend next year as well as a couple picks if we do not turn these assets into a Super star or two we might as well be sell the team to Seattle or Las Vegas.

No doubt Corbin shares some of the blame for the Jazz lack of success, but how many more wins could any coach get out of this team? I'd say 5 more tops. We simply aren't that good. Our FO is also to blame. They had a ton of assets this year to make moves and they didn't. Same thing last year. Our FO seems more worried about getting into the playoffs, even if it is to get swept in the 1st round, than gambling a little trying to get a championship. Is that good? Some people might think so. I don't and I believe most of the people here agree with me.
