The most bad ass bar in Salt Lake is opening this week, you guys gotta check out Water Witch, it's on163 W 900 S in Salt Lake, the bartenders are studs and they will have the best mixed drinks and brews in the city and their snack foods will be phenomenal. It opens Friday, support a kick ass local biz.

It's a friends place but I did a walk through today and it's going to be the first of its kind in Utah, it's pretty awesome.

Is it a sit and watch a Jazz game type of place, or take a date on type of place?

Modello is my favorite cheap Mexican beer.

I usually go for Dos Equis but I tried Landshark tonight.

Bohemia I feel is the best mass produced Mexican beer, but frankly I don't really think any of them are great. I'm not a snob and I drink Modelo tall boys cause they're cheap but it's just a regular yellow beer in a can. It's too bad small breweries can't really do business in Utah. There's a lot of beers that nicer beer stores and bars have to fight tooth and nail to get because they in such limited quantities, and the People's Republic would never even try to get anything that isn't in bulk and pasteurized for shelf life.

Date and there are some awesome restaurants next to it as well if you went for drinks and had dinner after as well.

But one of the bartenders named Sean is a huge Jazz fan so you can definitely wax poetic about the Jazz with him.

That's why I want to make my own beer.

It's supposed to be a really fun hobby. It's how the micro-brew industry started. Jimmy Carter's administration allowed home brewing and small businesses were born with an eye for beer instead of distribution.

It's the first day of Hanukkah! AS such I get to post my favorite Haunukkah song that just so happens to be 100% true about my Holiday season.

Anyone want to give me directions on posting an avatar? I've tried several times and can't figure it out.

You won't have to resize it. The system does. You just need to make sure to use one of the approved hosting sites and you enter in preferred dimensions on the avatar page.

I'm pretty partial to Lucky 13 and Cotton Bottom. But I would like to get up to Roy soon. Thanks.
