Right? It is so funny to me that Jazz fans are so paranoid about embracing DM. It isn't a real "thing" that if one acknowledges that a player is "special" we doom them to "Not gonna pan out." "Over-rated." I bet DM checks this board - or his people do? Just a head check y'all - DM has serious ball skills that are about to get better. With Hayasswardwood gone it is all doom and gloom?

Annoying them a god versus some perspective? No paranoia here. He could be a good or great player, but I'm happy to wait and see before calling him a future hall of gamer or bust.

I will temper my expectations because he's just a rookie, but he's definitely better than Alec Burks.... By a mile.

He's making it really hard to not love him. Hasn't played a game, but I'm excited about his potential. Hope he earns himself at least 20 minutes a game.

This dude understands the marketing side of the business more than any rookie I've ever seen on the Jazz....he does have Superstar written all over him if he can back it up with his play.

Seriously. Ballsy post. I like it. Jazz have some swag bigger than Swaggy P on board. Hope him and Alec are getting up shots together this off-season as it is time for a little Jazz swag.
DM is gonna blow minds. Count me in. As a current and former Exum-backer I wouldn't be surprised if Ex turns into a Ninja and DM rubs off on him. But DM - he got the rookie swag going on and glad damn he does. His Stock/Jerry reference tells you his mind-set.

Worth noting: Mitchell got less than 1/5 of the vote, but this was still the highest percentage ever for this question, which usually gets the biggest mix of responses. Mitchell, who averaged 24.0 points in Summer League (scoring 37 in his final game) was the only player to receive votes for each of the first six questions.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.
