I see the hype is starting to jump the tracks on this year's draft.

Right now my guys are Walker and Musa, considering where Utah will probably finish.

Musa is skilled, but he's a stick. Not sure he has an NBA body.

Troy Brown at Oregon has popped up on my radar in the last couple weeks. I like him as a big wing with potential to be a better NBA player than Harrison Barnes.

I'm not concerned about his body so much as his effort defensively. Hopefully Utah will have better options available. Kind of hard to really decide who I want to draft until we have some idea of where we will be drafting. Musa and Walker might be our best options if Gobert comes back healthy and we trade for Mirotic. Part of me hopes somebody outbids us on Mirotic and we instead use our trade assets to gain another pick or two.

I'm at the point where as long as Rudy is going to be our center, we need to target guys who are a threat from 3. No more of this hoping a guy can learn to shoot. Troy is a lifetime 23.8% from 3. I wouldn't touch him with a 23.8 foot pole.

Damn. That sucks. Hope he beats it... One of the good things about being an athlete - they are more likely to get tested regularly and for an illness to get caught early, which gives much better chance for remission.

I have no idea. I don't think I've ever seen this type of thing before. This is legitimately one of the craziest NBA stories ever IMO. A player who was shooting 41% from 3 and doing it on 6-7 attempts a game and doing it on very hard shots - on step backs, off pnr, off advanced dribbling moves... suddenly cannot shoot and his form looks horrible. Even in SL his shot looked natural and smooth. I just... don't know. I don't know what to say or think.

To me he looks more like a first rounder but you never know with seniors.

Who is this year’s Bam? The player who looks terrible because NCAA basketball is terrible but will show more in the NBA?

I thought Bam looked really good last year so I'm not a fan of that analogy but I think the player that fits that mold the most for me is Gary Trent Jr although he has really started to heat up of late. He has great size and skill for the sg position and in the nba I think he will thrive with more spacing.

One kid that is getting no love but looks incredible this season is Aaron Holiday. I loved what I saw from him last year and he has improved significantly since then. If we can get our hands on a late 1st then I would take him in a second. He seems to play with an edge to him that reminds me of Bobby Jackson.

Right now my top 3 for where we are expected to be are:
1. Kevin Knox
2. Colin Sexton
3. Jarren Jackson

Na on Sexton and Meh on Knox.

Thumbs up on JJJr. I like him and Mikal Bridges as possible targets. I've been looking into the players a lot more deeply, and I feel like Utah is going to be right on the borderline of where they should be. There's about 6-7 guys I like, but I'm sure there are 2-3 guys I don't that will get taken early. So right now I feel like we need to be at least #9 and a little higher would be even better.

With all the injury troubles Utah has had over the last few years, it's only fair that this year they work to our adavantage. From everything I've heard about the trade deadline, I'm not very optimistic about our chances of grabbing another pick, so Utah needs to make the very best of their own.

There's a new article about Doncic in ESPN: "Is Luka Doncic losing his grasp on the No. 1 pick?"

Insider is required. Don't have it but the good news from what I could gather is that he might slide a little, which is good news for the Jazz.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.
