My exact thoughts. The perfect way to lose.

1.5 games away from the 6th pick, 2 games away from the 5th. Just tank it already :curse:

The tank went over a mine last night. We moved from the 10th pick to the 11th. :vent:

I was at the game. My boys were having so much fun and it’s always fun to win in the moment. And as I was walking to my car I wanna thinking how we needed that loss. It’s a lose lose situation.

On the plus side, the Magic just beat the Celtics on the road.

Big night for the tank tonight, a lot of important match-ups apart of Jazz-Hawks.

Griz, Mavs and Charlotte all get the W tonight.

Jazz get the big L. That was a big win for the tank. Utah might have built some momentum coming off the W against the clips. Instead their curse on the road lives on bigger than ever, with the worst team in the league beating Utah decisively.

Tank on.

Yep, two games out of top 5 of draft. Too bad Bulls and Suns couldn’t pull off their wins.

Time to trade players. The tank should be on. Come on DL.

The nets had a big lead on OKC, and ended up losing by 1. That sucked.

The kings won, but they beat Orlando and it would have been better for Utah if the Magic had won, as we likely were never catching the kings anyway. So that sucked.

However, the Lakers beat the Celtics by 1, which is totally friggin awesome!  :rocking:

So not a great day for the tank, but the Laker win was pretty sweet.

If he trades Favors and/or Rubio I think the team improves quite a bit. Those two will keep Gobert and Mitchell in check. If you don't undermine them, this team will win too many games.

We could easily get into the top 5 of this draft if we really wanted to... and I think we should really want to.

Fundamentally there is something wrong with the system where you have to root for your team to lose.

The NBA should remove the draft.

Would you rather:

A. Trade Rubio/Favors for picks + win more games + enable Mitchell and Gobert

B. Keep Rubio/Favors + lose more games + disable Mitchell and Gobert

The NBA should remove the draft.

Not gonna happen unless the nba has to. Wilt and the aba have both forced major nba changes. It would take a bold move, but the jazz could blow up the nba draft if desired.

The way to do that is to buy a team in belgium, holland, or fyr macedonia. It will help when the union gets 18 year olds back in the draft.

So you take a 17 year old McDonalds All American and you lock him into a multi year deal with a monster nba buy out. So instead of worrying about him playing for kansas and going number 10 he automatically falls to you in the second or flat out goes undrafted.

You can also go out and get young internationals, lock them in, and enter them in raw after playing 10 minutes a night for the Antwerp Jazz.

Point being they go 2nd round or undrafted and the jazz control their destiny as they'd be under contract to a jazz development club with no path to another nba club.
