I'd rather have O Neal playing those minutes of Hood. Maybe Hood can go play with Gordo in bean town. They could use a bench warmer with Hayward. Who I'm still glad the Jazz didn't dump a boat load of cash on. Swallow that freaking pill for five years would've been a nightmare.

Props to stitches for dominating this competition for 99% of the time, including winning the regular season competition. But you have to show up for the playoffs and close the deal... Alas, alack! Having won the overall competition, the reward I had planned for the winner will not be given to anyone, since I'm not about to give it to myself.

Much respect also to jazzfanWA and congrats on the GTS playoffs victory, and to thorian as well for an admirable performance.

I think for the next season, we should come up with a Jazz board GTS trophy like The Shiva Bowl Trophy. Maybe a specialized picture to use as a signature that the winner gets to proudly present and rub in everyone's face? Maybe El Hespiritu can put something together, he's really good with this stuff.

Thanks again to Jazz Dog for carrying the load and putting this all together. See you next season!

Spoiler:
While there will be no reward for the winner of this season's GTS game, someone on this board will get something for their efforts soon. More details to follow.

Before we let this thread go down and forget all about it, there is still another small matter to attend to.

As previously mentioned, the efforts Jazz Dog puts into this game every season are greatly appreciated, not only by myself, but by the other Jazz Mods as well, and by the participants of the GTS game, I'm sure.

Therefore, we decided to recognize these efforts by dubbing Jazz Dog as "Jazz Forum GTS Commissioner," which is what he effectively is, and to make it official. The title appears under his name, labeling him as such. Consider this a knighting.

Congratulations!

Thanks Jazz Dog, you have done an awesome job with this for the past few years. It was a fun way to be involved with the old Tribtalk forum and I remember the skepticism of bringing it here, but I think it has blossomed in this new forum. Congrats on the Knighting, well deserved! Looking forward to next seasons edition and hopefully we can attract more participants. It was cool having more and new participants with the Playoff edition.

Thanks to all the moderators and regular posters. While I don't feel like I have a ton to contribute, I really enjoy reading the input of those of you who are much better informed than I. Cheers!
