You guys are one of the best teams to play against us this season.Quite clear you run out of gas at the end, otherwise, great game.
You are definitely better than your record.

Did you really just post a lineup with the starting 2 guard being JR Smith?

Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.

I thought the Jazz played some of their best basketball all season those first 3 quarters. Then they fell into their regularly scheduled no points for 5+ minutes routine. They did looked gassed, but I hate how often this happens to them.

Thought Mitchell had a great game, just didn't have anything left in the 4th. Thought Gobert played as great a defense on Giannis as you could ask for.

Giannis could have fouled out at least twice over. He fouls and fouls and fouls.

Kind of reminds me a little of the old Sloan Jazz. They used to just beat up the other team, these guys aren’t brutal like Karl was or throwing blows but they just always seem to be knocking somebody around and being slappy.

GG too bad we ran out of gas. Thought the guys did well keeping the complaining to a minimum and competing.

It seemed pretty obvious to me in the 2nd half that this team is just fatigued...people were missing shots short or pushing their shot to get a little oomph on it. I think a lot of the 2nd half of this game was just playing 3 road games in 4 nights in different cities. Honestly really happy overall with the road trip.

Too bad ... we cannot witness Giannis vs the PG version of Giannis... :-?

To compare Giannis with Dante is the most hilarious thing about basketball I have heard for months, if not years.

May man Maker was great. He made his shots, played well on both ends and with energy, and made his shots. A lot of hustle from him. I'm warming to Brogdon as a free agency target if the Jazz will be looking for a PG--he scores with great efficiency from everywhere, plays within the offense, has good size and looks like a good fit in our offense. I wasn't overly impressed with the Freak in this game. Maybe he had an off game, but for most of the game the plan of having Gobert guarding him and giving him plenty of space worked well. I was surprised at how reluctant he was to shoot from range, and when he did shoot I could see why.

The Jazz were lucky with injuries up to this week, and now we are finally starting to feel the rigors of the season. Props for fighting through it. Rubio was balling when he got hurt, which is too bad.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

I'm proud of the team. They competed hard and simply couldnt overcome the injuries and the fatigue in the end. Hopefully our team has turned a corner. We lacked effort and hustle early in the season....if we can bring back the energy I see no reason why we can't get into the playoffs as a lower seed with a chance to upset someone in round 1.
