A lot of injuries on the Wolves and we are playing at home. I don't like our odds...

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Also they were trapped in Denver by snow late last night.

This has all the makings of a loss.

The trap is strong with this one.

Minnesota has to be playing the most low effort game I've ever seen so far.

Favors making it impossible for the Jazz to not pick up his option next year...

I'm liking me some Neto! Man he should be the backup PG. Exum goes to 3rd string for all 20 games he's healthy each year

Gobert and Favors both played strong tonight again. If Gobert could learn a soft turn around one hand bank shot like Duncan, or a sky hook he would be legit on both sides of the court.

Mitchell just destroyed the rim.

I am against that. Gobert plays really optimized basketball right now. I don't want him adding inefficient shots to his repertoire. There's very few players in the league if any that are efficient on hook shots and turn around bank shots. There's just no way that Gobert, who has horrible touch, is going to efficient on those shots.

There's too many cases of big men trying to add post moves and having it backfire. Often times they move away from what's effective in favor of ineffective post moves. Heck, we saw a mini version of this when Gobert tried to add that weird floater a year or two ago. Gobert is better than ever, and he's essentially removed that from his game. Instead, he's gotten better with his hands and his footwork is so much better on the catch. He's quite good at using his gather steps to get around the rim. He's also gotten very good at sealing his man for low post position.

Favors is also better than ever, and he's eliminated the post up from his game. He does have a little bit of a floater game and short hooks, but almost everything is on the catch. I'd rather Gobert work towards that mold rather than adding post moves with his back to the basket.

I read right knee pain. Apparently he had it earlier this season as well. "This isn't the left knee he had surgery on earlier in his career."

I had forgotten how likable Rubio is even when his shot is not falling. I just love all the little things he does on the floor. It's such a shame that the dude cannot buy a jumper or a layup... He could have been sooooooo good.

I didn’t comment on the game itself yesterday, but let me say this. If you have to move your C up in the PnR in attempt to hide him (Jokic, Towns, etc), you are going to get annihilated in the playoffs. It’s so easy to beat these defenses.
