Solid rotation with Conley, DM, Ingles, Bojan, O'neal, Davis, Gobert taking most the minutes. Neto, Exum, Niang filling in the gaps.
Jones says the plan is not to play Bojan at the 4. Ingles will finish at the 4 and come off the bench. Still looking for a starting 4.
But that was before the Ed Davis news. But Jones also said the Davis plan is at the 5.
We have a Jae Crowder hole.
Honestly to be fair I think lineup decisions is coaches job not some Knicks fan that highlights as a Jazz broadcaster. If Quinn thinks Davis/Gobert can play a few minutes together because of the matchup then it will happen.
And don't sleep on Willie Reed. He got injured last year in the G-League but he might get his opportunity to shine in summer league and make the team. And he has a big body, seals his defenders well, good hands on the catch, and soft shots. He might be a surprise to some.
That's fair.
I'll miss Favors even more if we see a lot of Ed Davis at 4. Favors is lightyears ahead of Davis on offense. And I would have loved to see him pick and roll with Conley, and enjoy the space of having a point guard with a 3 point shot.
