I would really like Queta as Goberts back up.

Queta is interesting to me as I'm a huge USU fan and I love his potential and passion for the game. He is so green though. Has he signed an agent? Or is he just testing the waters right now to see where he stands and determine what he needs to work on this next year in college.

If he is available I would definitely look at him as a 2nd round pick. He has a drive and athletic ability to do some amazing things. He is a definite project though but grew a ton in his first college season.

I view him as a possible Gobert replacement.

He reminds me more of a Capella type player. Better footwork in the post and shooting touch then Gobert had coming into the league with a higher ceiling. His work ethic is spot on and hopefully it doesn't change when he gets into the league. Maybe Snyder will try to play Gobert, Queta, Favors all together....

If the Jazz are really good at this, they'll get a workout together that includes KZ Okpala, Louis King, Jordan Nwora and Darius Bazley and have those wings play with the ball in their hands.

Then they'll put another workout together that includes Luka Samanic and Mfiondu Kabengele and have them work against one another inside and outside.

I'm seeing reports that Luguentz Dort and Ignas Brazdeikis are planning to workout for Utah in the near future.

Add Carsen Edwards and Dylan Windler to the expected workout list.

Nice. Kabengele vs. Claxton vs. Reid vs. Williams in a matchup of late first-round bigs. I'm afraid Williams might get his ass kicked if he has to go against those guys in single coverage. He's giving up 3 inches in height and probably 5 or 6 inches in length. I'm a bit surprised that his agent agreed to that matchup.

Okpala vs. King vs. Windler vs. Brazdeikis in a matchup of long wings. But this is the workout in which I'd also like to see Darius Bazley.

Ponds vs. Harper and Carsen Edwards are relevant too.

It's impressive that they pulled all these guys in on the same day.

Hopefully, they'll get another workout with Bazley, Nwora and Horton-Tucker, and throw in someone like Cam Johnson for good measure.

This workout has several players that are on the radar, and going against one another to boot, excited to hear the report on how they went.

This reminds me of the workout the Jazz had way back in 2010 when they brought in Gordon Hayward, Paul George, Xavier Henry and some other dude, maybe Luke Babbit. Hayward apparently won that workout, and the Jazz drafted him.

Last year, the Jazz had a workout with Grayson Allen, Aaron Holliday, Jalen Brunson, Khyri Thomas and a couple others. Grayson apparently dominated that workout and got drafted.

The Jazz seem to put a lot of stock in these workouts overall, maybe more than they should.
