It might partly be a function of playing on a losing team or might have something to do with getting older. He's way down on DRPM too. He doesn't seem like he is worth 2 years, $10 mill per season. I too would rather give minutes to Ingles, Crowder, Royce and Niang.

He is getting older. Maybe his market won't be that high. The Jazz have a place for a guy like him though. Something like we saw happening with Sefolosha. Another aging 3 and D wing.

We wouldn't have to get rid of Favors to get D'Lo. We would have to do some trading to make it work though. Trade Exum and a future 1st to Atlanta for one of their 1st round picks.

I like this idea.

I think this will be a showdown between the Jazz and Pacers for Russell. Do we have the more attractive offer?

If the Nets renounce Russell, our whole plan should be to somehow get Russell AND Favors. I believe that's the Jazz's first plan now. Just gotta get ride of that Exum contract.

I would trade our first in a heartbeat if it meant getting Russell and Favors.

This is an interesting idea. It would be giving up on any potential Exum still has and sticking with the imperfect fit of Favors.

It would have to be sweetened. I am not sure if is enough to work:
Jazz out: 2019 #23, 2020 FRP (lightly protected), Exum, Bradley, two future 2nd rd picks
Hawks out: 2019 #17 and #42.

I think Irving has to look at the Lakers now. Probably still going to the Nets. But that Lakers spot has gotta be attractive.

I don't think it would be this much. Bradley &/or Exum with a future 1st might be enough. I don't think Atlanta wants 3 more rookies if they can divide it up by postponing the pick until next year it might work better. Plus we get rid of salary and trade next years 1st round pick to give us an extra pick to include in a trade or to pick 2 this year.

There's buzz that D'Lo is probably going to end up in Phoenix. Given how close Donovan and D'Angelo are (they take vacations together and their girlfriends are bffs or whatnot), the Jazz know what D'Lo plans to do.

That's probably why Utah and Indiana are going after Mike Conley.
