I'm curious to see the details on this one. If this is a trade and not a waive, UTA could theoretically include Ed Davis into this as a S&T with Bogey and we'd still have the room exception.

Oh me too. I don't think Favors would enjoy playing in either of those places. New Orleans will be a good spot for him, and Favors will be a good mentor to Zion.

I’m confident he gave his blessing g in where he is going. Favs gets to go back down south. It’s not Atlanta, but it’s closer to home and he is in a good spot where he gets to play a ton of mins and show his value. He is going to get a lot of easy buckets in rim rolling as the Pels run and gun.

Favors to NOP, picks to Utah
Bogs to Utah (s+t) into the Favors TPE

Why? Just cause. It does nothing for us except it creates good will with the Pacers, who would maybe send a second or two for gifting them a TPE (this is only advantageous for them if it happens *after* the Brogdon trade and their own FA signings).
