I bet most of his points will be from dunks anyway. Not that big of a deal.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

One of the best offensive rebounders in the game. Good combo w/Exum's missed layups at least

Joke's on you, Exum will not play because he'll be injured.

The Davis signing was a good one on the heels of losing Favs (ouch, that hurt to say out loud), and adding a great shooter. He's a relentless rebounder, probably moreso than Favs, who was great. Still, he's a lot more Udoh than Favs. I don't think Ed is going to make or break may games, but it's nice to add a quality big to a roster who was looking at possibly having to play <gulp> Tony Bradley.

B- grade from me. Could be a B+ if they find a way to still add a decent PF-type, or if Niang really blossoms.

And Ed won't be rebounding because Quin will want him back in transition D.

P.S. Ed Davis is one of the better backup centers. This is not a bad singing...

Can't Davis play next to Gobert from time to time against some big front lines like Embiid/Horford if we need him to?

I know this gets us right back to an offensive lineup that is limited on spacing, but I suspect a lineup of Conley, DM, Bogan, Davis and Gobert would still be better offensively than last year's starting lineup and perhaps as good or better offensively than the starting lineup we had several years ago comprised of Hill, Hood, Hayward, Favors and Gobert. Conley > Hill, DM > Hood, Bogan < Hayward, Davis < Favors, and Gobert improved to be greater than Gobert. That 2016/17 team with Favors/Gobert was still good enough to rank us number 12 offensively at NBA.com.
