So far Bradley playing well. I really like what Fletcher has done for Utah.

Wright-Foreman's (damn we need a nickname here) shot is coming around this game. Looking smooth this second half

Hollins has potential to be a really good defensive player with some coaching. He's got really quick feet, long arms, and high energy

This is what you hope to see from a 3rd year player like Bradley in the summer league. Domination! Nice to see Wright Foreman have a solid bounce back game as well.

I think JWF realized that he can't just beat guys 1 on 1 like he did in college. He needs to get some space from a screen or motion from the offense.

I was hoping to see some of our new guys build some good press by showing up at summer league. Conley and Bogie would have been nice to see supporting the team.

They aren't officially part of the team yet. Not to say they can't show up anyway, but I don't think it's necessary.

That being said, it's always nice to see our players show up for multiple games. Even our big time names. Is that normal? Do other teams do it? Or are they gently pressured into it because it's in Utah?

(I don't recall seeing Hayward at them)

I think our guys just truly love basketball and being around each other. That's where the chemistry and such comes from. When your leaders: Spida and Gobert both show up it gravitates the rest of the team their as well. Man it is so refreshing to see from these guys and I hope to see the new members join in on this.

From what I watched in college he wasn't great creating separation there either. He was just making hard shots at an exceptional level. Like he would shoot some insane shots with defenders right there in his face ... and he would make them. I guess... this is part of the reason he fell so far - if you are able to create the separation for more comfortable shots AND you are hitting those shots the projection is easier. When you have trouble to create separation and you are just hitting really hard contested shots, what happens when the competition, length and athleticism bump up a level... or two levels in this case? The good things is... we are the team that runs the most screens in the league and he should be able to create small advantages by just using Quin's elaborate on and off-ball screen game.

Bradley has developed some nifty little moves in the paint, and though not conspicuously athletic, he has quick hands for boards and loose balls. I predict he gets some burn this year.

Niang is a natural behind the mic - tons of personality as well.
"But if you want to win, you have to teach a player how to win. That's why I don't believe in tanking, all that stuff. You don't learn how to win by losing on purpose to get a 19-year-old who you've never seen." -Rudy Gobert, 2017/18 Season

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

I really like what I see from Bradley. It's not just the fact that he's dominating or that the production is there (which is nice)--that is expected from a 3rd year pro. His body is so much better now than 2 years ago. He looks lean and (for him) athletic, he's moving with more fluidity. And he's got really nice touch for a guy with his size.

For the first time, I'm actually seeing someone who could be a legit NBA rotation guy. If he's ready this year, that really helps us cope with the departure of Fave.

About as good as I've seen Bradley play. Still not sure how translatable to the NBA that is.

I think he's showing that he has value as a roll man, not just an offensive rebounder.

Apparently he was working on a 3 point shot all summer, but I don't see the point.

Two years ago I'm not sure Bradley could dunk, let alone block any shots, so him losing weight and getting stronger has certainly improved both of those areas. However, I still see him as at best a 3rd string center, where most teams don't carry a 3rd string center anymore. He played great this game, but was eaten alive by Ivan Rabb, who is probably a backup center in the NBA, the first game.
