Espn ranking always is a craziest: they put Timbers with 3-0 in West lower than Knicks with 1-2 in East! Last couple years I have impression that their major factor is some kind of public expectation which are corrected only very slowly by actual performance.

Crowder had a great buzzer beater 3 to win the game vs the Nets. Really happy for him, that was awesome.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

You must mean the Nets, not the Knicks, but yes, hope springs eternal for the New York teams from ESPN reporters, many of whom are located in NYC. Seems like they are always rumuoring all the great players to end up on NY teams. The Knicks completely struck out on obtaining star players this off season. The Nets got Irving plus the injured KD, but KD might not be the same player when he finally comes back next season.

Yes, of course Nets.

And thee are eve crazier placements: f.e. 0-3 NOP are over 2-1 Suns! The standing supposed to rflect current performance... of course tough fight lost to best team can be counted as plus in power estimate, but here it is evidently not even close to ratio. I was laughing on their PR for last 2-3 year but this standing is new pinnacle of absurd.

Exactly what I was going to talk about. I am really happy for him. I was kind of sad when he left the Jazz and I will always root for his success.

Just watched DEN v. ORL given I now live in CO and trying to see if I can bond with this team as my 3rd or 4th favorite. Their bench isn't sexy but much but like the Snyder, coach Malone is still messing around with rotations and they have interesting options. If Porter Jr. can be a contributor as it appears this team is scary. Grant was an underrated pick-up for them. Even an overweight Jokic isn't slowing these guys down much. DEN's potential and Jazz potential feel about the same right now - dog fight in the second round and who knows after that.

It’s disheartening to watch teams with a bunch of randos be able to competent offense. Meanwhile, the Jazz look like a bad high school team with one good player.

Paschal looks amazing btw. Definitely did not see this out of him.

Dallas is big and bigger and looks to make a huge jump in the Western CONf.,..... Jazz and Portland are looking like they can be disappointments ! Jazz thought by adding offensive players they were going to make a big splash ...but now they can't score inside and like usual one of the most unathletic teams in basketball ...a Snyder staple. Portland plays 2 man basketball and doesn't seem to be able to stop anyone from scoring.
Dallas got a triple threat stud and a player 7'3" slowly coming around and looks to be mucho dangerous to every team in basketball.

Is Phoenix taking a step up with the leadership of Rubio .

Don't look now but the Suns are tied for 2nd place in the west with a 5-2 record. It won't last, but they deserve much respect. They could have been at 6-1 if not for their one point loss to the Jazz.

Their other loss was by 1 point in overtime @ Denver

It's nice to see them play well and succeed after being bad for so long. Hopefully it will last. Rubio is playing well for them and it looks like he really helps them, along with the rest of the new additions.

On a side note with all the Conley bad play we haven't talked about Favors who looks horrible. He was dinged up in camp but damn he isn't even playable right now.

He's been injured since camp. He played a couple of games to start the year but then missed 3 games. Seems like the knee thing is bugging him again.

What about Denver's 21 points comeback against Philly?

I didn't watch it, but that must have been an amazing game for the Denver's side.

Hayward out with a broken hand...... Just when he was starting to play like his old self...... I know people around here are not exactly fans of his, but he just can't catch a break...... I wish him a speedy recovery......

Sorry for him. It's easy to forgot him when we have this roster. He has played more or less like exum... still I wish him a speedy recovery and a good carreer, but not doing better than the jazz.

Dude needs to wear #50, that way when he's on the fast break, everybody can yell "Here comes five-oh!"

With all those leprechauns around him, one would think one of his wishes would be to stay healthy... oh well...
