Bojan and Green seem to have a decent chemistry already......

There's been at least half a dozen travel violations by both teams in 1 quarter...... You know it's preseason when that happens.....

Royce looks excellent to me......

And Bojan trying to be a point forward is going to be interesting......

Yes, the energy level of the team picked up when Royce came in, and the Jazz got the lead.

Ed Davis is a relentless on the boards..... Great post defense as well...... I'd like to see him switch on a pick and roll to see how he would defend on the perimeter...... But the 36ers aren't trying anything besides long jumpers.......

I think it's a safe bet the Jazz are going to set a franchise record for threes this season......

Not a very good 3 pt percentage so far tonight --- 28.6% with 6 minutes left in the third. Niang can't buy a bucket, but veteran Green starting out shooting well.

Oni is the first 2nd rd pick that I have liked in quite a while and I'm loving what I am seeing. The jazz seem to be selling him on being the next Royce O'neale for us and he is smart enough to buy into that role. It is amazing how many physically gifted young players don't realize the benefit of being a 3 and D to stick around in this league. Way too many of them focus only on offense and can't stick in the league.

Bojan distributing, NWG looks solid, Green looks good as does Bradley. Would’ve loved to have seen what Mudiay could do with this competition

Davis and Green are sooooo much better than Bradley and Niang.

Thoughts on tonight's game.

Adelaide is really bad, take everything with a grain of salt. Team moved the ball really well. Adelaide was full court pressing and trapping everything. In typical Jazz fashion we got a wide open corner 3 or layup whenever we wanted.

Oni - Looked like he belonged with the rotation players. Showed of his athleticism tonight and had many, "he knows how to play" moments

Davis - Did Ed Davis things. Needs to be a bit better at finding the corner man when the help comes on his roll. Hopefully that will come with time.

NWG - Looked slow, nothing spectacular. Struggled with pressure some times.

Bradley - Typical Tony Brady versus scrubs performance. Bad bigs cannot handle him.

Brantley - Surprised to see that he was the last one off the bench. I'm still very intrigued by him. Big body, athletic, flashes of ball handling, passing, and shooting skill.

Kidd vs Howard - Howard looked awkward as hell. Not an NBA athlete from my eye...but it looks like he can really shoot it. Kidd looks like an NBA player stature+athleticism wise...but I'm not sure he can make a shot.

IMO, a big emphasis on this roster is skill. Even if you're not necessarily believer in everyone, it seems like the one or two things that they have going for them are either +shooting, +playmaking, or both. Think about it this way...how many guys on this team are regularly taking the ball up and initiating offense? Pretty much everyone except for the C's. How many guys are decent or better spot up shooters? Again, almost everyone on the roster.

PS: New set alert? Watch at 5:58, I think this is a very difficult action to defend:

We've done this before, but it's so much more threatening now. We have a better passer with the ball (Green or Niang), two dangerous shooters running their splits, and a knockdown shooter in the corner. This is something the Warriors do all the time with Klay+Curry.

Watch until the end to watch the Brantley show.

This is Jeff Green doing his Paul George imitation...

Green looked solid and was much more athletic looking than I expected.

I know it's preseason, and I don't expect it to stay this way, but the poor 3pt shooting was giving me some serious PTSD to last playoffs.

Only a preseason game vs a bad team without 5 players who should be in the rotation.

Loved what I saw from Brantley out there. Looked a little like Anthony Mason with his size and passing.

He’s very intriguing to me. I’m not sure he’ll able to put it all together, but he has an impressive profile for such a late pick in the draft.
