Noticed we don't have one. I suppose this still falls under the pre-season thread, but:
Quin Snyder Agrees To Multi-Year Extension With Jazz

Snyder has done very well with the Jazz.... I'm glad the Jazz have locked him up......

What do you think the odds are that the Jazz end up trading for a PF by the trade deadline?

Pretty low. Exum is the only salary we can send out, and he's sure to have negative value at this point. If he's able to play his way into postive or less negative value might as well keep him because we can use him at that point.
There's quite a few options out there, however. The Jazz might get lucky with a buyout...but ultimately I don't think a big PF will show itself to be a huge need. It might become the scapegoat, but we played mostly with Jae and Favors (who was bad at PF) at last season.

New heights! Also, Stanton Kidd beats out William Howard.

I think Royce and Bojan were the only ones we didn’t have measurements from combine. Bojan taller than expected at 6’8 without shoes and Royce shorter at 6’4 without shoes.

I haven't followed Jazz player heights and weights very closely before, but Donovan at 6-1, Royce at 6-4, Jingles at 6-7, Niang at 6-7 and Ed Davis at 6-9 are all shorter than I imagined. We probably have the league's shortest starting backcourt with Conley at 6-0 and DM at 6-1. We might have one of the shortest SF/PF starting duos as well.

Height is entirely overrated, you don't play with your head...... Standing reach and wingspan are what's really important......

Height still matters.
Mitchell at 6'5 with his exact same wingspan would be a much better defender.

Why exactly? He has a 6'10 wingspan, that's what potentially makes him a very good defender......

As long as the height wasn't all in his neck, he'd have a higher standing reach and likely be able to switch competently onto power forwards at that height.

A 5-10 man with a 7-7 wing span isn't going to be as dominant of a defender as Rudy Gobert.

He would on the perimeter where he would be playing....... Can you imagine a guard with that wingspan?

https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/lebron-or-mj-raptor-picks-the-best-nba-players-of-the-past-40-years/John Stockton no. 3 all time by RAPTOR. What say you KqWIN?
It's kind of shocking how it puts Stockton closer to Jordan and LeBron than to no.4(Chris Paul).

Do Jazz fans hate the Lakers so much that we don’t even create a game thread or acknowledge them? Haha
