Trae Young is listed as a confirmed starter now. He was only listed as probable earlier because of a right calf contusion. Just Mike Conley and John Collins are out. Collins is still serving a 25 game suspension with a Dec. 23 expected return.

Trivia: Atlanta guard Vince Carter is tied with Stockton for fourth place for regular season games played at 1,504. Tonight will make 1,505 for Vince.

Rudy out here embarrassing himself on offense. The attempt to expand his game has backfired.

Jazz trying to be way too cute on offense. Can't score on the worst team in the league because we're taking 20 seconds to run a play.

It's not a joke when I say this is a tanking level team. The starters are getting beat. I don't want to think about what's going to happen when the bench comes in.

Well Mudiay knocked down two threes in Q1, right after I was giving him a hard time for not being a three point shooter in another thread. LOL. The first one was even a step back three.

Jazz D against these young Hawks hasn't been very good so far.

Reminder, we are being dominated by a team that just got blown out by the Knicks.

Bogdanovic gets the least respect of any player I've ever seen from the refs......

Mitchell and Gobert were big time to close it out...but having to come back and close out a game like this is not good. The bench is soooooo bad.

Bench was getting shined by Alex Len, Allen Crabbe, Deandre Bembry and Jabari.

Another underwhelming game, this time against the worst team in the league. I suppose it's better that we still pull those out but this ability is not going to take this team far.

BTW, watching the shots Trae Young takes makes me feel much better about the shots DM takes. I suppose that when they go in they make Young look good but man, he takes some bad shots. I love his passing, though. He should have tried to facilitate more imho.

Also, Jabari looked pretty good (at least on one side of the floor). Our bench could use some of his scoring despite his lack of defensive effort. I also liked Bembry's game and effort.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Just watched the game.

A few things came to my attention:
1) Men, this Atlanta team sucks. The final score doesn't translate it. They hit some threes that no way were supposed to go in, very away from the basket, no planning, pure lucky. No wonder they only won 6 games so far in the season.

2) The Jazz don't see to get a break. They play a weak team like Atlanta and the game is decided in the final minutes. A game like that should have been decided in the first half.

3) Our bench is really far from good. I don't know what to do about it.

Regards,

Deniz
