Maybe Conley hasn't declined in 1 year. Maybe it's been the last couple years. The Grizzlies have been a bad team for the last 2-3 years. Maybe Conley was just putting up stats on a bad team, and now that he's on a good team his true colors are showing.

Then again maybe not. But he's looked cooked to me this season.

It is pretty ironic that we traded two seconds w/Burks to get Korver, then a year later we traded two seconds w/Dante to get a very similar player to Burks in Clarkson.

Unless he's injured, which doesn't seem like an unlikely scenario. BTW, you forgot 'injury prone.' 8-)

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Apparently, he's going to be out "several" more weeks, that's after his injury was only supposed to keep him out a short period of time...... By this rate he might not play again.....

I hope we all can agree the FO made the right decision in making this trade.

I think Clarkson is an upgraded version of Burks. Younger and has a better 3 point shot, which helps everyone get to the basket...even the ball dominate guards we now have

After three games, so far so good on the Clarkson trade! I just hope when he is cold, he doesn't shoot us out of games like Hood used to do sometimes.

Last night Clarkson only got a couple of assists, but I thought he made more passes to an open man than he did in his first two games. He started out his career as a rookie PG averaging a respectable 5 ast/36 mins. He repeated that assist rate in the 2017/18 season with the Lakers while listed as SG. I would love it if he could do that again here, which would put him a little over 3 assists per 24 mins. In the playoffs, everyone needs to be comfortable finding the open man. Go Jazz!

It's great to have a new player that can create reasonably efficient offense and not add to our turnover woes. Clarkson is averaging 0.8 TOVs per 24 mins. In addition, Clarkson seems to fit in pretty well playing alongside starters or bench guys, giving Quin more flexibility to mix and match lineups than he had before the trade. All of a sudden we have more lineups that are competitive.

And Donyell Marshall has kept the league record for 12 threes.. Minnesota without KAT and horrible Wiggins still won. Their run started when Exum was in, and coach decided to take him back to the bench.

Jordan Clarkson will have 28 points and night and will means nothing much. If you enjoy career nights from scrubs go to Washington Box Scores. Plenty of it.

Excited Dante had a great night, hope he does really well. Still very happy with Clarkson so far.

He looked like the Dante we've been hoping for for a night.

Would have been nice if Dante got a real chance from Quin this year...but that was never happening so I'm very happy for him.

Sigh, makes me cry a little bit. Those points weren't flukes or a guy just getting hot with jumpers. That said, like others, glad he is getting some tick to develop his game now that he is healthy.

Dante has been playing great for the Cavs. He had career high the previous game and from what I've seen Cavs fans are already calling for him to start instead of their top 10 pick from last year. Why all the salt?
