Clarkson is not good BTW. I don't think he's ever seen a ball he doesn't want to shoot and he's bad on D. He's going to be close to unplayable in the playoffs IMO. But he's going to play because we have noone else. Our FO continues to make moves for the regular season and gets players who will be massive liability come playoff time.

It's only his first game after being traded. I don't think he made worse than Exum... because Exum wasn't playing at all. And he gave some rest to Donovan to do his thing in the 4th.
We miss more good players. Even with Conley sucking, it's better to have another veteran. Still I think we're improving.
And we didn't miss Green either. I'm sorry for him, but he was a no factor.

He's shooting 84% from FT. He's not Redick or Korver. He's never going to shoot 90%. 84 is plenty good enough. He needs to work on his 3p shot more IMO.

He is shooting 74% in the clutch so your intuition is not completely off. But keep in mind clutch stats are small samples and might be due to chance rather than some underlying player-related reason.

Gobert won the game about 7 times for the Jazz in the 4th with his actions on defense and his offensive boards and subsequent plays.

Ingles and DM were good too, but as a whole we still don't look very good.

There will plenty of time to complain about Clarkson but based on reports, the guy had yet to practice with the team or know our plays, so there is no surprise he's going to try and score by playing hero ball. Also, that's probably what he was brought here to do anyway, score off the bench. I actually think most fans will like him pretty quickly because he's the only guy on the bench that can score. Either way, we're not getting past the 2nd round with this roster.

Gobert is amazing. Our best player by far.

Clarkson did well. No practice with the team, I am pretty sure Quin told him to shoot every time. I liked it. it was a good spark of the bench, at least in the first half.

I hated that we let that big lead go away (again), but I enjoyed the game.

I think the Jazz is figuring it out. We have a easier schedule the next couple of weeks. Right on time to go up in the seed. Time as well for Conley to recover for his injury.

Clarkson missed his spot up 3's, which he's been very good at. I didn't mind his play. I think it was really stupid of Quin to keep Mitchell with the second unit. Mudiay, Clarkson, and Mitchell on the court at the same time? Come on now, that's ridiculous.
