Down big early against a hungry young team looking to take scalps in the WC. The other team is hitting jumpshots and making some crazy low percentage shots. Young stud killing us early. All our best creators struggling to convert on routine plays. Sluggish.

But the team kept fighting all night. Despite the fact that ever rally was snuffed out just a bit short and the other team responded each time we closed the gap with a run of their own to reclaim some space. Down all game, playing from behind. Role players for the opposition making huge plays.

Those games just usually end up going against you. This is the biggest win of the season, imo, and a sign that this team could actually be ready to contend to come out of the West. I've been very skeptical of our chances to be more than a 2nd round team and a tough out in the playoffs, but this one had me questioning that thesis for the first time in a serious way. Very encouraging.

And then Houston game happens :)
