After watching game 1, I honestly think we could/should win this series. But we might be gassed and/or lose another shooting contest.

Doubtful that DM can score 50+ pts again, but also doubtful that the Nugs can hit over 50% of the 3s.

This game(and the first one) is a perfect example of what I was talking about before the series started - this aggro defense is about the worst defense you can play against the Jazz. Our whole offensive philosophy is based on creating small advantages and building them up like an avelanche to create clean looks. The Nuggets give you the initial advantage(and not even a small one) on a platter! It's all about the execution from then on.

The only question with this series is whether we will be able to stop them defensively. I don't think we will have any trouble scoring.

They amped up the pressure on Mitchell, but that seemed to make the decisions even easier. Pass around their trap and it's a free open shot or dunk.

This is what happens when you can't defend a PnR 2v2. You have to send help.

After really doubting Mitchell entering this series, I think we just saw the two best games of his career.

Watch this playoff race get turned upside down in the 1st rd. I still think the lakers beat the blazers but it wouldn't shock me to see it go the other way. The clippers got lucky with Porzingis getting tossed or I think they lose game 1. That series could also be a testament to the greatness of Doncic who through 1 1/2 games so far has made Goerge and Leonard look like average defenders. You would think those guys would create a problem for Doncic.

Having Royce on Murray was huge. Not sure Jokic and/or MPJ can beat the Jazz.

I'm not big fan of super prolific scoring with average efficiency. Players don't autograph their points so those of DM or Niang are of the same weight on win scale. The only thing which really matters for me on offence is effect of player on team efficiency.
