He shoots 41% from three. He is insurance against injury. He only cost a second round pick.

Probably wont crack the rotation, but we're deep... 6. Clarkson 7. Ingles 8. Favors 9. Niang, and we have one of the best lineups, so not a lot of minutes to go around.

I don't mind it. Doesn't really fill a need but you can't have too many shooters. I also wish we had added a big wing defender.

Toronto traded Terence Davis for a second half an hour after our trade was reported. How the hell do you pick to trade for Matt Thomas over Terence Davis? This is mind boggling to me.

This Jazz team is starting to look like an elite church ball team, the tall guy who plays defense, the guy who cant really score who plays defense, and everybody else that wants to be Steph Curry.

We weren't going to trade for someone with his recent legal history. But, yah, I think it would have been better to go for a defender (Kenrich Williams, David Nwaba, Sterling Brown, anyone). But Thomas is a fine addition if we think we can sign someone or if we think Oni can fill that role.

On the subject of church ball, I know why Ryan Smith had us trade for Matt Thomas, he's basically looks like an RM, Ryan Smith needed a ringer for his church ball team, you wait for the DNP-CB.

I do wonder if we plan on resting Bojan for a while so his wrist can heal and grabbed Thomas so we still have an elite off-ball shooter?

Could be that, and to let our other guards rest. We still need a defensive wing unless DL thinks that every team will have the injury bug.

We definitely need more wing defense. Our guards are mediocre at best defending.
