Closeout games are the toughest, but the painful failure to close out the Nuggets in three tries last season is still fresh in the Jazz player minds, so hopefully the Jazz will bring a big, focused effort tonight to get the job done. Memphis will never quit and is arguably getting stronger with Jaren Jackson getting back some of his mojo in the last game. The Jazz players are settling back in to their old roles in the full strength rotations as well, so I am thinking we could see some very good, competitive basketball from both teams tonight.

Go Jazz! Close out the Grizzlies!

In scoring 47 points in Q1, the Jazz were just two points off from tying the all time franchise record of 49 points in a quarter. This was the most points ever for the Jazz in a playoff quarter though!

I swear the games this year we have scored over 40 points in the first quarter we end up losing.... I don't expect it this time, but would love to see the data as it's wierd thinking about it. Maybe just my memory

They are focused tonight. Passing like crazy creating open 3 after open 3. Really hope they can maintain this focus after a week off waiting for the Dal-LAC series to end

I really hope they get a week off so Conley can get his hammy good to go again. Go Jazz!

True, that will help. Hopefully it's just precautionary and nothing major at this point

put a heavy bet at that game without 2nd thought. We destroyed them, as they should. Nice game.

Put em away like a 1 seed should. Good to have some rest for Conley but hammy problems seem to always come back

Good series! Was fun and now I probably will root for you guys the rest of the way because of Conley. Hope his injury was just a precaution thing and not an actual problem. He was huge this series.

at this stage no one is healthy and everyone is playing one-legged. We have a much needed rest and hopefully rest of the bracket will pay 7 game series.

Mitchell's efficient 30 points on 16 fga with 10 ast, including 26 pts on 13 fga in the the first half, is getting a lot of well deserved attention, but Gobert had a heck of a game as well: 23 points on 13 fga along with 15 rebs, 7 orebs and 3 blks. JV, the number three rebounder in NBA and number two offensive rebounder in NBA, only had 6 rebs and 2 orebs.

Go Jazz!

1st time since 2007 we dominate in that way in a series. Last time was 4-1 in WCSF vs Warriors, and that was an anomaly since they were 8th seed.
We have won some series since:
2008: 4-2 vs Rockets
2010: 4-2 vs Nuggets
2017: 4-3 vs Clippers
2018: 4-2 vs OKC

Before 2007, last time we won 4-0 or 4-1 was in 1998. 4-1 vs SAS & 4-0 vs Lakers
