Too bad they just lost Sexton to a torn meniscus. Their three man guard rotation of Rubio, Garland and Sexton was working well. Cleveland had six players, including Sexton, who were averaging double digit scoring ranging from 13 to 16 ppg.

And yet they are practically holding him hostage, and wasting precious development time for him. I get that this is a business, but if he's so low in their priorities then they won't get much of a return for him anyway, since they hardly let him play to begin with. So the fact that they keep him in this position instead of letting him go is pretty awful, imho.

Part of this is on Bagley for not showing any improvement.

Well, he's had some injuries and he doesn't get much playing time to show what he can do. But if he doesn't show any improvement, why wouldn't the Kings just trade him instead of paying him $11M for not playing and for not being a part of their plans for their season?

That part I don't agree with, that's just bad asset management.

Love that Alec is getting more of an opportunity......

Agreed. The early season stats indicate he is playing pretty well on both ends of the floor. He leads the Knicks in TS% for guard/wings and 3P% --- though he has been only taking 7.8 fga, and he has decent early season defensive ratings. Great to see Alec fight all the way back from his horrific early career injuries to a starter. I would like to see Alec and the Knicks at least get back in to top six in EC. They finished fourth last season.

Yeah that sucks for them..... But I think Rubio and Garland can play together, and it might actually be a very solid backcourt......

After watching them beat the Jazz in SLC a couple weeks ago without Dillon Brooks I thought 2 things:
1) Damn!!! I wish the Jazz drafted Bane I think most of the Jazz fans assumed if he was on the board that is what the
Jazz would / should do
2) If Memphis stays healthy, they will be in the hunt for home court in the first round
