Game 25: Utah Jazz (17-7) @ Philadelphia 76ers (14-11)

Both teams are on a second game of a back-to-back. A lot of good big men this game: Gobert vs Embiid, Whiteside (if he plays) vs Drummond.
Draft Nate Wolters - FAILED
Keep Nate Wolters - FAILED

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

The Jazz are running away with the lead for NBA's best Offensive Rating. Go Jazz!

Joe Ingles was spreading the wealth last night. In just 24 minutes of action, Joe Ingles logged assists to O'Neale, Mitchell, Gobert, Conley, Gay and Whiteside, including two assists to newcomer Rudy Gay. I am hoping the Ingles - Gay connection becomes a regular thing.

We've got a pretty small sample of only 11 games for Rudy Gay, but he's looking like a pretty good upgrade over Niang so far. He rebounds way better; he has a much longer wingspan and reach to bother players on defense and he can play small ball Center in a pinch. He is also shooting the ball more efficiently than Niang, though I think Gay's high 64 TS% based on a small sample could easily drop from where it is now.

Our other off season acquisition, Whiteside, has already established himself as a significant upgrade over Favors. Whiteside got three assists from Mitchell on his way to 14 points, 10 rebs and 2 blocks last night.

I feel like this team with the league's highest rated offense has even more upside on offense as they continue to integrate newcomers Gay and Whiteside in to the offense. Go Jazz!

We have won 10 of our 12 last games. Those 2 losses were by a margin of 1 point (Grizz & Pelicans).
We have won 6 in a row, and we have blast'em all but Cavs.
127 points vs Pelicans, 129 vs Blazers, 137 vs Celtics, 109 @ Cavs, 136 @ Wolves and 118 @ Sixers.

This team is beginning to work.
