Gobert has been added to questionable list with left ankle soreness. He's grey tossup GTD.

Yes, it seemed like Cunningham was easily driving and finishing in the paint, but at least the Jazz held the Pistons to 19 points in Q4 and got the win.

I was glad to see Paschall was the first Jazz man off the bench. He didn't fill up the stat sheet, but I still think he brings some toughness to the rotations.

I wanted to check the Popcorn Machine this morning to see how various lineups performed, but the Popcorn Machine hasn't updated any games since Jan. 17. (Wonder if PopcornMachine.net is going out of business?) Looking at the season's lineup page at NBA.com, I see a small ball lineup of Gay, Paschall, Clarkson, Forrest and Conley played together 7.7 minutes this season and were a plus 6. I see a small ball lineup of Paschall, O'Neale, Bogey, Clarkson and Forrest played together 8.2 mins this season and were a plus 10. If memory serves me correct, both of those lineups got their minutes during last night's game. Those might be reasonably credible small ball lineups that can bring a little D to go with the offense.

Forrest had his most productive game this season: 8 points on 4 fga with 4 ast, 2 rebs, 1 blk and 0 tovs in 18 mins. The Jazz were a plus 19 while Forrest was on the floor. He still has the weakness, however, of not really being a threat to take and make an open three.

Forrest looked very good in this game...... And as far as Cunningham, I was shocked when the Pistons completely went away from him at the end of the game...... Jazz couldn't stop him prior to that......

Yes, Cuningham didn't take any shots the last three minutes of the game, but he still took quite a few shots in Q4. He only got two shots up in the restricted area. He made both of those, but hopefully part of the reason he didn't get more shots up in the restricted area was partly because the Jazz tightened up their D a little. (In years past, I might have gone back and rewatched Q4 a second time to try to verify what happened, but I am just live streaming games right now with no recordings, so I pretty much see every play just once and try to remember as best as I can.)
