The Jazz should take advantage of this easy schedule to gain Ws, they'll need them later. It will be a real surprise if this one ends with a loss, but we all know the Jazz are prone to dropping games like this. Should be a blowout, though.

Read an interesting stat the there are 3 teams with only 15 wins and only 2 teams in the entire league have lost to all 3, Charlotte and the Jazz. My eye test says that this team has given up more games when leading by at least 15 than I can remember. And several of those were against the bottom dwellers of the league. It's the really bad loses that give the league pause when discussing this team as a potential championship team. Very few, if any, teams fear them in a playoff series. This "easy" portion of the schedule is where they need to regain the mojo they had last season before MC & DM got hurt towards the end.

The glaring exception is the Laker game, but hopefully that loss was one of, if not the most painful loses of the season and they learned that lesson better.

Glad to see Conley still performing in the clutch. I wish we would find shots for Conley in the clutch more often. In clutchtime, defined as last five mins of game and neither team ahead or behind by more than five points, Conley is shooting 49% from the field and 52% from three.

The one time a GTS question is a gimme, Mitchell manages to dish 10 assists and notch a double-double and screw me over... One shy of his career high. Good on him though. Nice performance.

It's our first OT of this season. We won and hit several clutch shots, so I take like a lesson.

I'm more concerned about lineups. Starting lineup it's not beginning or closing too much well. The Gobert-gay-house-clarkson-conley lineup it's not doing well. And Gobert and Conley are with - in their last games, and this is unnatural.

I actually got this one!!! OK I thought it would be Whiteside as try 2nd, but I found myself chanting, "come on Donovan, one more, just one more assist." When Conley hit his 3 with 8.2 seconds remaining, I though, dang, just missed it. Overtime allowed the last assist, whoohoo!!

Still, embarrassing game. That statement I made about foot on the throat, yeah, not learned yet...

Teams with size and athleticism that switch on defense can disrupt the Gobert/Conley pick-and-roll sets. Mostly, I think they are tougher for Conley to contend with and this makes Gobert less effective.

Against Houston, I think it's more a case of the Rockets' starters hitting an unusual number of 3s against the Jazz. Gobert was pretty dominant as his personal numbers show.
