Tonight, another game in LA, this time vs Clippers, who are with injuries and are performing above 50% W-L.
It's difficult what to expect, because Clippers always gave problems to last few Utah Jazz teams... still, this is a new team with great faith and team ball, so if we win, it won't surprise anybody.

When you're hot, you're hot. The Finnisher up for another double-double.
Also kudos to Sexton. Much, much smarter play from him than with the Cavs. Must be the (less hyped) players around him that make him feel more comfortable and don't drive him to hero ball.

I like the quote- it makes me chuckle. And it was/is pretty much true.

Uh oh. An injured Clipper team is kryptonite to the Jazz.

Another win. Lauri, efficient bit quiet. Conley, Sexton, Olynyk great down the stretch.

The Jazz had a different finishing lineup where they used Sexton instead of Clarkson. Sexton replaced Clarkson at the 6:50 mark in Q4 with the Jazz down 89-93. The Jazz scored 21 points in the last 6:50 and Sexton scored 9 of those points. Jazz won 110-102. Clarkson had a good game too. Go Jazz!

Entertaining game. Everyone played well except for maybe Gay who might be washed at this point.
Sexton can get to the FT line which really helped them down the stretch tonight. Conley and Olynyk played great in the 4th quarter too. Nice team win.

I’d really like for Walker to get Gay’s minutes and slide THT up a spot into the backup PF role. Gay is about done, he’s not hitting shots, and make rookie-type turnovers.

Good game. Clarkson's fourth quarter hero-ball is becoming a fixture of this team, and something I hope the Jazz fix as the season progresses. Hardy needs to find other ways for the team to score because the team gets stuck for stretches in the 4th when Clarkson attempts to go it alone, with mixed results.
Respect for Sexton, the guy plays with a high motor.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Terrific game, I was thinking the same thing about JC. Oh no, I thought the hero ball 4th quarter plays were not a part of this team's DNA now that Q and DM are no longer part of the team. When Clarkson began adopting that strategy, he began pressing and that's when things started to slow down and get messy. Terrific coaching move to insert Sexton for Clarkson, and chemistry of sharing and getting to the line propelled them to another win. So far, this team's clutch play has been stellar and with Hardy using so many different closing lineups, it's not easily scouted.
Terrific team win, great coaching decisions, fun to watch!
