Expecting anything but a win?

Jazz are favored by 3.5, but anything can happen. The Warriors have gone 3-3 since losing Curry, including 2-0 at home. Jordan Poole is leading the Warriors in scoring during Curry's absence, averaging 27.8 ppg on 20.5 fga over the last six games. But they are likely going to be missing Klay Thompson as well, who is expected to sit out the back to back game for injury management.

You can never know with this Jazz team. We've already seen we're capable of losing to anyone, including teams without their stars, so who knows. I expect a win but nothing will surprise me.

This... we have won Nuggets, Suns, Grizz, Pelicans... but we can lose vs anybody.

We had a miracle win vs them last time and they were without Curry and Wiggins too... so, whatever.

Watched the game.

Couldn't understand why Conley got 32 minutes to Sexton's 16 minutes. I would have used Sexton to close out the game. You probably would have won.

It's tough when only a couple of guys play well. But you lost by 4, and the following guys were on:

Markkanen, Clarkson, Sexton, Vanderbilt, Alexander-Walker and Kessler. 5 of those 6 should have closed out the game from the 6 minute mark and in reality played most of the 4th quarter. Heck, even Olynyk wasn't that off, he could have played (and did).

Will Hardy lost this game, IMO, despite poor performances from the rest of the team.

Agreed the rotations made no sense tonight.

Conley played too many minutes and his shot was off. Beasley couldn't make a shot either and doesn't do anything else to help win games.

I don't understand why Lauri sits so much during the 3rd quarter. Sexton was getting to the FT line and putting some pressure on the basket. He also had a few nice passes but Hardy didn't even play him in the 4th quarter. Very mystifying..

Yet another game that we lose to a star-depleted team. No Curry, Wiggins and Thompson and we still lose. The previous game against the Warrior was won by a miracle at home. Still hovering around the .500 mark, the worst place to be.

I don't know why Markkanen was pulled in the first quarter after making three 3s in a row. He was feeling it and should have kept playing. Once again, he had like 20 points in the first half and in the second he cools down.

Conley has been off ever since he came back. He's averaging 8.4pts and 6.7ast while shooting 35.9%FG and 28.3% from three in December. That's not gonna cut it.

Olynyk had two great blocks but other than that he wasn't very good.

Beasley's shot has been off.

Kessler was fine. Still managed 3 blocks in 20 minutes.

Yes, 16 minutes isn't enough for Sexton. He is one of our most consistent, efficient players on offense, averaging 14.3 ppg on 61.2 TS% in just 23.9 mpg. And last night, he was passing the ball well too, getting 4 ast and 1 tov in his 16 minutes. He did have some foul trouble though.

On Dec. 7, the Locked on Jazz guy made a good argument that we were better off with Conley's leadership on the floor during clutch time, going from "a plus 17 pts/100 possessions in clutch time with Conley to a minus 21 pts/100 possessions without Conley. We went from turning the ball over for 11% of our possessions in clutch time to turning it over 33% of our possessions without Conley" he said. The Jazz executed much better down the stretch in clutch time when Conley was playing, even when Conley wasn't shooting well.

But Conley has struggled since he came back from injury. And Conley's leadership in clutch time, combined with his own poor shooting percentage, hasn't been enough to get us over the top in clutch time in recent games.

To me it is become very clear after Spurs and Warriors games
Jazz is decided to start tanking that's why Lauri gets pulled early 1st quarter even he shoots and scores well.
Sitting Lauri long and cooling him into 3rd quarter seems also being one tanking move
but of course Hardy and uncle Danny won't say that public ( Adam Silver will not like that if they say that )
So what else this losing is if not tanking?

Sexton couldn't defend Ty Jerome. It was weird. He got played off the floor.

I'd say it's regular, run-of-the-mill losing. I don't think it's tanking. If the Jazz start trading players for draft picks or start sitting players with phantom injuries then I'll start to think we're tanking. Right now we just suck.

I don't what the hell is going on since they deliberately ignore passing to Lauri in the second half, time and time again.

A recipe for failure. Time to wake up, Hardy!

EDIT. So he was questioned about it:
