If we could upgrade the roster, who would you trade? I've left Laurie & Walker off the list because if you vote for them you should just leave, also left of Ochai & others as you cant have that many on the list

Yeah, I’m still personally in value maximization mode. As much as I like this team I don’t think any of those players are long term pieces for the Jazz, so I’d move them if there’s value for them.

I'd be open to moving pretty much anyone for the right package.
Beasley, Vando, Olynyk are the 3 players that I feel are most likely to be moved. Conley probably next on the list.
Clarkson is a guy I'd lean towards keeping. He's an ideal vet to have on the team imo... great vibes, likes it in Utah, always positive, consistently produces offense... and he's not such an old vet. I think keeping Clarkson is even more important if we end up moving Conley.
I'm indifferent to moving Conley. Chances are the packages for him aren't anything more than lateral moves... so maybe I only do it if it's a destination/situation that Conley would really like to make...I'd probably let Conley be a big part of that decision for that reason. Respect earned is never worthless.
I'd move Sexton if there was a decent deal, but he's on a pretty awesome contract, and his vibe is amazing. Probably keeping Sexton.
Gay is probably impossible to move...we'll have to pay to move him. I just don't see it happening.
No one else has any real value... potentially moved as filler. (THT, NAW, Bolmero, Fontecchio, Dok)
Lauri, Kessler are untouchable. Clarkson probably doesn't yield anything better than what he already produces...so I don't see a reason to move him rn.

Is there anything that the Jazz would be interested off the Blazers roster (Besides Shaedon Sharpe) for Vanderbilt?

Maybe something like Keon Johnson & Greg Brown III and a 1st for Vanderbilt?

I haven't been following the Blazers very closely so I don't know if any of your young players are of interest. Are you open to trading draft picks?

I really like all the players with the exception of Gay and THT who are both signed thru next season. Maybe one of them can be packaged in a bigger deal at the deadline. THT had a pretty good game the other night. He's ok as long as he sticks to passing and knocks it off with the crazy shots he likes to take. The team is in a position where they need to bring in another alpha to play next to Lauri so trades are going to be necessary especially considering the ages/contracts of some of their players.
Due to age it's obvious Conley isn't a long term fixture so if they can get value now it might be worth it.
Obviously JC's contract is a huge issue hanging over their head. Will they be able to re-sign him in FA? Does he want to play for an immediate contender? I'm sure Ainge wants a FRP but JC is a rental at this point. In addition to being a fan favorite in SLC he's also a guy that could really help several contending teams.
I doubt NAW has a ton of value but think he's a rotation player. I'd probably try to re-sign him on a cheap deal this summer.
Vando and Beasley might be at the top of their value. They are both signed for another season too. This might be the best time for Ainge to strike on a deal for them.
I think Sexton's value only goes up on that contract especially as he's being coached up by Fizdale, Conley, and the staff. I don't trade him at this point unless they get a really nice return. Both he and Lauri rank in the top 10 in the entire league in positive ISO scoring percentile. He has an elite first step and he gets to the FT line too.
Olynyk moving forward is going to be a bench big on this team. I consider moving him to a contender if they get a decent return. His shooting/ball movement skill would be nice on any contending team. He also has a very low guarantee on his contract for next season.
Agbaji is someone I don't trade unless of course he's the guy required by another team to be part of a package to bring in a Batman and/or Robin to play next to Lauri. He should only continue to get better. I see him as a rock solid roleplayer moving forward.

Vando is worth alot more than his $4 mil salary.
Of course Ainge always likes picks but I'm guessing Vando might be part of a bigger deal due to his small salary.
Maybe Portland can get involved in a 3 team deal where they end up with Vando? Just thinking out loud.

It's easier to talk about who to keep.
Markkanen and Kessler are not available outside of a massive overpay.
Everybody else is available for the right price.
Conely is probably worth more to Utah than he is to anyone else. I don't believe Utah will salary dump him, as they value him as a culture setter.

Yep, Conley has significant culture/leadership value and the Jazz are unlikely to take a weak trade return just to dump his salary, but I believe the rumours saying the Clippers have serious interest in Conley. He would be a great fit for the Clippers who want to win it all this season. And today, we got rumours that the Lakers and Wolves are interested too.
Conley appears to be shaking off the shooting slump he was in after coming back from injury. Over Jazz' last 10 games (Conley's last 9 games), he is averaging 43.6 fg%/43.8 3p% that is producing 11.7 pts on 8.7 fga. He is also averaging 7.1 apg with just 1.2 tovs/g over last ten. He leads all starting point guards in assist/tov ratio at 4.8.

It's a conundrum. Conley is a great influence on the lockerroom and team. He could be very valuable in helping a PG acquired in the draft next season. However, he also helps the team win games. The Jazz were 12-6 before Conley's injury and 3-8 while he was out injured. Perhaps not all due to him, but still, he certainly helps win games. If the Jazz are sellers before the deadline with an eye to improving their draft pick, they have to consider moving him.

Assuming this is true, the fact that we are shopping Conley means the Jazz management have made up their minds and decided to start tanking the remainder of this season.

If they trade Conley, I would agree. I just hope that if they do, they are fully committed and also trade at least Clarkson and Olynyk. The worst would be to trade only Conley and still end up winning nearly 40 games this year.

The obvious choices are Olynyk and Gay. Kelly is somewhat valuable. Gay, no.
Then at the right price I wouldn't mind to lose Beasley, Vando. Then, Hardy has to select THT or NAW, and trade the other one.

I think Clarkson is more in that Conley bucket you describe. We will keep Mike unless he asks to be on a contender.

Hopefully. I think he'd be valuable for the Jazz still in the next season.
