As much as I'm tired of all the fake drama and cancel culture online... I must say the Jazz and the NBA should say good bye to Karl Malone. Just quiet quit him. Ghost him.

Dont take anything from him. Dont say anything. Just stop bringing him around.

This isn't a cancel him thing or a go after him thing. And I dont care that he's a dead beat dad. It's not cool, but that's between him and his kids/moms.

Great basketball player but a challenged human being.

He belongs in a Subway commercial not representing the Jazz or the NBA.

Great player. List him as a top player. Watch a highlight on youtube. Stop inviting him to nba/jazz functions.

He's a rapist, by pretty much any definition...... Hard to type that, since he's such a Jazz legend, but he is......

Jazz should take a more proactive role in disassociating from his image/name......

Certainly not a good situation and no one condones what was done.

However, how many years/decades later after someone in their teens or twenties says or does something reprehensible do we forgive them and accept who they have become?

I believe Koby was married while Malone wasn't. Plus age wise. But this is the first time I'm hearing it was rape and not just to very young kids. Seams to be more about hate and less about forgiving others.

Not defending the situation but everything I have read said she was 13 and was 14 when she had Demetruss.

Kids cant be held to contracts they sign and have a seperate court system. They also cannot consent to sex with an adult.

I wonder what you guys would call it if some adult messed around with YOUR 12 year old daughter. If she was a white girl from the suburbs you'd have no idea who Karl Malone is.
