Too many teams are sucking better than the Jazz, and it seems like the Nets (traded away Schröder, Milton and DFS) and Raptors (lost by 54 points) kicked up a notch in their efforts. The Hornets are somehow terrible even with LaMelo Ball playing, the Pelicans are executing a master class in suckiness, and the Wizards have been awful from day one. Jazz need to step it up.
Also, happy new year.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Keep holding out hope that the Pels will start playing Zion to get trade value up which might also get them a few more wins. Right now nobody wants him because of the history both on and off the floor. At least 76s started to win a few. Also like to see wolves keep slipping into the lotto range.

Not a bad game for the Jazz, though Markkanen and Clarkson had a rough outing despite their numbers. I was not enjoying watching Clarkson go it alone almost every time he touched the ball, and even the Knicks broadcasters called out his shot selection repeatedly throughout the game. Sexton was good and Kessler was decent. I suppose George was fine as well.
Overall, a good night for the tank with the Raptors and Wizards winning their games. Shame that the Pelicans are so horrendously bad.

It is difficult to suck more... In fact I think jazz could won around 30-35 games without this blatant tanking. Only playing veterans, and not sitting everyone with minor injuries. They have been pretty effective losing games, and even when someone is good in +/- like mills, or have some good shooting nights (Like Shik or whatever his name is) sit them forever.
Probably we won't win more than 20 games, maybe less if other teams are losing and losing... but if other teams wants to suck more, we can't control it.
