Honestly wouldn't hurt as much if it weren't for the teams that moved up.

Is it me or does it seem like the team with the worst record in the league slid to 5th a lot of times over the past several seasons?

The Jazz management isn't incompetent enough to be rewarded.

This is really awful. I have this as a 4 player draft, so I am just praying Tre drops. We need to totally bottom out, there is no hope of being good in the short term, but also the tank is going to be a year delayed so it makes less sense to keep Lauri. Trade all the bad young players, too.

It really means we need more bites at the apple in 27/28/29. Hitting this year meant you only needed to have another year or two... this probably sets us back by 2-3 years? Probably competitive in 2030?

I want more bites on 2026, it is a nutty class up top it looks like.

I was just pulling up who has extra picks next year... almost tempted to try and swap #5 for more shots next year.

I'd say that at least the Spurs didn't get Flagg but with Harrison you never know. He just might trade Flagg+salary for Fox+#2.

If you want to bottom out then isn't it better to keep the bad young players?

Get value in a trade for them. Seconds, whatever.

But we need the bad players to lose games.

(From a Pistons fan)

Nope. Don't know what you are talking about. You are completely imagining things. It hasn't happened 3 years in a row...
