Where would you value some of the current members on our team with draft position?
If Lauri was available in the draft this year, and we know what he offers as a player, where would he go in this years draft? If our 5th pick of the draft turns out to be as Lauri's level now would you be satisfied?
Also curious on the other players on our team.
I personally think Lauri would be a top 5 pick this year. We know what he turns out to be and the others are based on potential. I think outside of the top 2 I would be pleasantly surprised if they impacted a game as much as Lauri can.

Re: current team vs. draft
He'd be a top 5 pick probably. He went 7th at his draft. I thought that Bailey's comp was Markkanen back when he was supposed to be 6'10 in that they both live on outside shots and can't create much off the dribble or have a good handle. Not a great comparison but there is some overlap in their skills.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Re: current team vs. draft
I think Lauri would be in the 3-6 range. So if we could trade him for the 3-5th pick and walk away with Ace and Tre I would. Have a ton of cap space to absorb 2-4 bad contracts for more FRP’s. But I wouldn’t only accept the 31 picks that seem to be mentioned in some trades. If we can do Sexton and Collins for Dame and their 31st pick in game. But I would not trade for the Lakers 31st pick some have mentioned. We need some more picks for next years draft or the year after. That’s what I would target if I was trading Lauri. Something like the Atlanta picks the Spurs own.
