Offseason question #12: who should we draft at #21

We have not talked much about #21 because it is less clear who will be available. zaz102 has been tracking mock drafts from major outlets and averaging where players go. So in this poll I will put all of the players from 16-25 up to choose + an "other" option. You can pick up to 3 players you like in the poll.

I went with Traore, Wolf, and "other" (Drake Powell).

Traore was universally a top-8 pick this summer. He had the most impressive summer between Adidas NextGen and the Hoops Summit of any player. His last month of professional play he was starting to put things together. He is blidingly quick, constantly attacking the basket, and has good court vision. I know it is another point guard, but it is a really high upside swing at 21. Downside, he is a bad shooter (though not as tragic as Collier and I think he shows better touch). He reminds me a bit of Tony Parker and Devin Harris, but a bit bigger.

Wolf is an excellent passer and shooter from the center position, I just have a hard time believing he won't carve out a role. He is similar to Filipowski in some ways, but I think his playmaking is clearly a level up.

Powell has amazing physical attributes and is not without skill. I think he has a good chance to develop into an excellent NBA player.

I went with Traore, Fleming and other (Saraf). But there is good talent there and I wouldn't be upset if the Jazz picked other players, assuming Traore isn't available.

I like Wolf but I think Flip is too similar. Fleming is also similar to Hendricks but we still don't know if he'll pan out and at 21 Fleming is good value.

Great call on Saraf, I didn't even see him so low, I would have him over Wolf, as well. I like this range, there will be interesting choices.

There's a chance that someone unexpected drops here. Of the options you listed, I went with Sorber, Traore and Clifford. That said, the Jazz have worked out Drake Powell and Will Riley and likely have some level of interest in those guys.

Beringer, CMB and maybe Raynaud would be good picks here. I'm not opposed to Jase Richardson either.

I agree with you guys have been saying, I do think #21 is actually going to be a good pick, there’s going to be enough variance once it gets to 16 that I think we get a good player there.
