The Official Collin Sexton Appreciation Trade

So long, Collin Sexton. When the Jazz traded for him, I didn't like him. I was going along with the narrative he had of being a selfish player. But he quickly changed my perception of him with his effort and intensity he put into every possession. And after a while, he became my favorite Jazz player on the roster.

I wish him nothing but the best, and I hope he'll start to see some team success and be on a competitive team.

I so wish that he was going somewhere good. But he's only got a year and then hopefully he can sign somewhere he can actually compete.

Couldn’t agree more. Wish we were 3-4 years farther down the road where the fit worked and we could keep him. Hope to see him be successful. At least he is going to get big minutes in Char and probably uo his value a ton and get paid. Congrats Sexton.

I went to Alabama during his year there, so I've always had a soft spot. He is a warrior, nothing exemplified that more than when he took Minnesota to the wire playing 3 on 5.

I loved having him in Utah - though it was time to move on just because of our timeline. I wish we sent him to a good organization, but Collin is from Marietta and it could be that we just honored a trade request to get him close to home.

Excellent, if not elite, offensively. His struggles on defense weren't for a lack of trying. Fiery, feisty, what's not to like. I'm going to miss the kid.
