Really? I haven't even really noticed the refs. Thats usually a sign they're doing a good job.

and.... thats why I wanted Korver out there, not cuz he is pretty, but he gets a key strip on the go to guy for Phila and gets a game clinching loose ball.

And the free throws. He didn't get 'em all, but 5-for-7, including the breathing room, at the end of the game...phew.

MAN, Evans is a rebound machine. Not our best effort, but this is the kind of game we would have ended up losing the last few months. Hopefully this is the start of our improvement.

Good game, Sixer fans...your guys always fight hard.

26 rebounds in 48 mins is pathetic. Thats why even though Memo blew up on offense...I have to chew him out for not getting the job done on the D glass.

Honestly no. I don't know what you're seeing that I'm not.

Anyway I'm just glad we got the win. It was a lot closer than it probably should have been but I'll take a win any way, any how.

Well, a good win. Should never have been as close. Sloppy rebounding (refs let them get away with a lot IMO but still sloppy) let them get back in the game.

All SGs pleyed well, and Memo hit his shots well. We need him to rebound like he did last year, even more now that we've become a better shooting team.

They caught a **** load of breaks, halfcourt shot, no look bucket, long o-boards, etc. but gladly we didn't fold in this one. Had we played anywhere close to this during our slump, we'd be 3rd in the west EASY.

Even in Victory. KK way underused tonight. He is more than just a specialist. Hes a smart solid basketball player, who oh yeah is probably one of the top 5 long distance shooters EVER, Wake up Sloan.

I want to talk about Jazz 3-point shooting:

Williams 1-2
Okur 2-3
Miles 2-2
Korver 2-2

we've got ourselves a team. If Okur can play like this consistently, or at least contribute half of what he did tonight on a regular basis, then I would be able to accept his role...the addition of Korver along with the recent rise of CJ Miles and of Kirilenko's 3 point shot are really taking some of the pressure off.

Look at the FT disparity. We did not get called for an over the back ONCE in the game, even though Evans and Dalembert push off and go over almost all the time. On the other hand the call a STUPID offensive foul on Boozer while driving on the break (he barely touched Evans).

Had that been called more even, we win by 12+. I mean, we were bad on the boards, but not THAT bad.

No 8 second violation call (CJ casually crossed half court with 14 seconds on the shot clock) which led to a steal and AI and 1. So sort of a break since they got the 3 point play (I think he made the FT).

I wanted Korver in also but CJ was just playing too good to pull him.

The reason I wanted CJ out of the game is because him and Ronnie both lack veteran savvy. The dont make great decisions in close games...ala Brewer (with plenty of time on the clock) doesnt get the ball to Deron in ATL, but instead also doesnt lead CJ to the rim for the easy 2, instead he puts him in the corner for a game tying 3. Then of course there was that play (foul or not) that CJ should have never made unless he was rushed by the clock.

Korver is smart, knows his role out there and will stay to it. He played good D, stroked it from the line and took care of the ball.

look at how many FTs they missed and how many slap fouls we give. The refs missed a lot of contact, but this game was close because we didnt rebound and gave up 2nd chance pts. I dont think I have ever seen such a bad rebounding desparity by a Jazz team in awhile.

Is Korver just teasing us with these last couple of games, or is he really going to flourish in this system?? Right now, I love what Im seeing!
