Tonight's game is a statement game - Jazzfan1971

I say tonight is a statement game. IF the Jazz run the nuggets off the court, I think we have a good 2nd half of the season to look forward to with a strong showing in teh playoffs.

IF the Jazz let this game go, that's it. We're toast. It'll be a mail in season and at best first round and out.

I know you guys wont' agree with me, but, that's where I stand. Tonight will determine our entire year. It's time to see where this team's head and heart are.

Show me something Jazz.

I dunno, its a road game, first time we meet the Nuggets this season, we're still trying to figure out the 2-gaurd situation (minutes anyways) and Memo and AK barely just came back from injuries.. I think it might be a little to early for statement games, but I would love to see a win.

Its not even close to as big of a game as you make it out to be. Middle of the season games are the least important games I think.

It may not be important based on the timing of it, but what it is important for is to keep this roll going. The jazz have a good winning streak going and if they can keep it alive on the road, especially while making up games to division rivals, it can be all gold the rest of the year.

Statement so far: Jazz can't play defense. Making Kleiza look like Dr. J.

Well this is a pathetic statement to make. Funny, the homers are downplaying it as much as possible, didnt see that one coming.

Jazz just gave up. Pathetic.

I think we may be looking at the lotto folks.

Yes a statement that the Jazz are soft and suck on the road. That makes for a .500 team and very iffy at even making the playoffs.

I'm downplaying the actual importance of the game as in "this makes or breaks our season." Obviously the game showed we have a lot of work to do whether that be trading, etc, but please, I'm not gonna blow up this team just cause of THIS road loss.. maybe because of the last 11 road losses, sure.

This team needs a major shake up!
I just don't see them being anything more than mediocre...........6th seed at best, most likely just barely out of the playoffs and a crappy draft pick

Make a move and trade one of the core guys. After tonights lay up practice that they helped Denver with the only player I would consider almost untouchable would be D-will.

rename this game reality check and to the only thing Sloan predicted right this season was that our home wins were fools gold.

I would actually be willing to bet my life the Jazz make the playoffs. What have they won.. 6 of the last 7 games? Jesus. Take a step back from the ledge people.

no, a road loss when you have lost 11 straight on the road is not a fluke.

That Denver game was definitely a statement game. I do think Kleiza going off was a flukish thing...

Although, did any of you guys see that list of Career Nights vs the Jazz?

There were like 10+ guys who have had career nights against us.

Maybe the second time will be a charm. Keep a hand in Kleiza's face.
