Anybody who watches the Jazz games.

Is anybody tired of this? Ohh this is the morgan this, or that. It is just a cliche now. Also 3pt shot, which is another 50 dollar for habitat for humanity, brought to you by the experts at mountain america credit union. Or how about the fact that Boone doesn't know what he is talking about, has alzheimers, calls people the wrong names. This isn't anymore mom and pops times, as the Jazz are the 2nd youngest team in the NBA and Ron needs to go to a care center.

I say we get Thurl Bailey in the mix, perhaps even David James. Thurl because he knows and understands basketball. I love the stats whore that DJ is, and he is knowledgeable in some terms. DJ+Boler would be dynamite. Anyone else has any better suggestions? (I am sure someone can beat my proposal)

naaa, no biggie, ron is just color and color commentators hardly talk, they just throw in some bits and pieces. really it seems like a very easy job.

OK... here is the deal... He still calls Oden Odom, even when he is in portland. Or about that time during the road trip in which he kept calling Ilgauskas, Ilgaukas without the S. It was driving me crazy!!!!

The color commentator is useful when he can teach of what going on. I love hearing Mike Fratello, sincerely, the guy is so smart and puts whats going on the court in very very easy and simple terms. I wish we had a guy like that.

But Boone, he still thinks that AK's career high in blocks is 8 blocks, when anyone who at least follows the jazz at home can tell you that Kirilenko has had his first two triple doubles being with blocks.

Yeah, Boone has his shortcomings and can be annoying at times, but he's a hell of a lot better than Bolerjack, who's completely obnoxious. BTW, AK's first triple double was with points/rebounds/assists, so if you're going to attack Boone for getting stats wrong, you should probably get them right yourself.

Almost every phase of a production is brought to you by some sponsor. Whether its graphics, stats, replays, anything, its all sponsors. He has to bring it up and he does. I don't have a problem with it or Ron Boone at all. The fact you mentioned Thurl Bailey or DJ as replacements for Boone tells me you don't know what the hell you're talking about. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Ron Boone does a fine job and plays with both ways. He's not a homer to the death like virtually all other play by play guys are. Boler can be annoying, but when Boler is gone and Steve Brown does the games, you begin to realize just how much you miss Boler.

DJ and Thurl though? Cmonnn man.

^I agree with D2nd. Oh, and dont cry about Ron Boone saying Odom instead of Oden. Every color commentator in the NBA outside of Utah called our star PG "Du'-RON Williams" for two seasons....even last year when he was making his case as second best PG behind Nash....

Honestly, Deron has nobody to blame but, his phonically challenged parents for that one.

Ron Boone is a good guy but was never meant to be a commentator. He can't speak English!!!!

Ron Bon: " uh-youknow, It really was, Craig".

Seriously just pay attention to the guy, he says some ridiculous things. And of course they have to mention their sponsors, but only when they actually announce the play of the game, not on EVERY SINGLE circus shot made by AK.

When it comes down to it, I really don't care though...

seriously he needs to go. you watch the nba.com top ten plays of friday and sitting atop number one is AK's beautiful dish and you hear ron boone saying "there's the morgan jewlers diamond play of the game"

I mean, it is better, but still not that better.

I know they are sponsors, but they just keep stuffing it through our ears that it is so annoying.

I was shocked not many people here are echoing my same feelings that Ron Boone needs to go. He is terrible, and he does a great job night in and night out in proving me right.

I love Ron and I want Hot Rod back. Mispronunciations and cliches are all the fun. And I love the Ron Boone sponsor things. How long is the drive to the Rainbow Hotel and Casino? I know because of good ol' Booner.

Finally! Yes, Boone needs to be axed! He is incoherent and blatantly obvious in everything he says. He stutters through half the mess he says and when he does finally get a sentence out it either has nothing to do with the game or is something as obvious as "The team who scores more points is probably gonna win the game" God, I hate Boler just as much, the only thing entertaining about having these two on the air is being able to actually FEEL the tension and hatred they have for eachother... Other than that, I'd rather just watch the game on mute.

Bolerjack isn't a basketball fan. He just doesn't have the passion. He is a talented announcer, but without the love of the game, he is nothing more than a cheesehead pretending to be something he is not.

Booner has always bumbled what he is trying to say, but at least I can tell that the guy loves and understand the game.

The only guy worth listening to at halftime is Pace. Thurl is ok. DJ is a clown. Steve Brown tries hard, but seems more like a weatherman than a sports guy.

Oh and I really really hate Tom Kirkland.

Everytime DJ asks him a question he always gets that look on his face like he's about to **** himself and then he awkwardly looks at Thurl for some backup.

Yeah pace seems pretty awkard and angry...constipated maybe? Bad sex life? I don't know.
