Have they announced the 3p shooters yet?

Post#1 » by DelaneyRudd » Tue Jan 22, 2008 11:18 pm

Hasn't been since Hornacek and Jaime Watson that Jazz fans will be able to see one of their own on all-star saturday. Kyle has to be a shoo in to compete.

I think Okur should have done it last year. I don't think that Korver is to a Kapono level of efficiency so far this year.

However, I do expect Korver to be back in the the 3pt shoot out competition next year, if he flourishes with the Jazz

On pure shooting ability alone, Korver should definitely be there, but he hasn't shot a great percentage from three this year, largely because the Sixer's offense sucked (and still sucks) and because it's taken him a while to get comfortable on the Jazz.

Didnt russell Compete in the 3 point shootout once, I know he helped out stevenson in the dunk contest. I liked that dunk over the shoulder they did.

Well Brewer or eben better Price should be in the dunk contest. Too bad Price isn't better in the team game. He could win it.

Yeah Price's smaller size actually gives him the advantage cus he gets more hang time and his dunks would look harder.

I would invite Korver if I was running it. Then I'd give Kurcher and Moore front row seats.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

It was Russell

It was the worst All star saturday night in franchise history as Bryon Russell was to defend Hornaceks back to back 3pt title and also help Deshawn with the dunk contest. He managed to botch both, doing horrible in the 3pt contest and robbing Stevenson with his inability to make a bounce pass and oop.
