What are the strengths and weaknesses of each of their games? Which is the better prospect?

Well, I'm gonna actually have to go with CJ, I think he has all the tools on both sides of the floor to be a real player. He needs to bulk up and become a little more discipline but he's still younger then Mo and I think he has a little bit higher of a ceiling. College would have helped him immensely IMO.

I call it a draw. CJ is more athletic and versatile IMO, and to be honest, I'd love for him to stick around with us more as he's a really good "team" guy. It all depends as to how much he's agent asks for and / or get's from other teams. If CJ were to accept a 4M 2/yr deal with some sort of option for a 3rd year then GREAT. I he asks for too much, then good luck!!

As impressive as Mo's numbers have been in the DL, his play with the big boys has been equally or even more so UN-impressive. I think another year down there and in between would be good for him not to mention good traid bait.

I'd love for CJ to stick around even more so as Harp is declining fast, a 2-3 rotation with Ronnie, AK, Korver and CJ would be awsome.

Really, with whomever we decide to keep, I'm OK. Both seem to be good guys, with good head above their shoulders. Right now I'd have to favor CJ because of what I've seen, but the truth is I've seen little to none of Mo, so... yeah...

Hopefully you mean 2M per...do you? I think CJs min-max is 2-4M. Personally I see him looking for a 3yr deal worth about 8. Basically the contract that Collins signed. Its to our advantage that all these players passed on extensions.

Yeah, 2M per... which ends up being 4M/2yrs.

CJ Miles I think right now is more NBA ready that Mo. The big thing is that CJ can do a lot of the things that Mo can't, such as rebound, block, and even run the point and plays pretty well.

Mo is meant to be more of a shooter, and he is probably gonna be an All-Star one day. CJ has the ability to be big too, and he is just 2 years younger than Mo.

I would say right now CJ > Almond Joy.

Almond the very little he has been in a game on the NBA level has been down right ugly, He may just be nervous, But CJ gives us a much better chance to win right now, this is of course after harping goes. So korver can play the 3 and CJ at the backup 2.

To early to make a call one way or another. I'm still not sure how far Mo's game has progressed. Right now I would go with CJ.

I agree with some of the things you said, but I definitely don't see Almond being an All-Star. But that's just me. He's got the potential to be a pretty good shooter and scorer and he's a lot stronger than Miles, but Miles is a better athlete, a better ballhandler, a better passer and a pretty good shooter himself. It's tough to say who has more upside.

Seen almost every D-league game of Almond. He's not trying to improve anything. Feels a sense of entitlement which will keep him sub-par his entire (short) career. Our best bet is to hype the d-league stats and include him in a trade.

Yea, I can't get excited about a guy putting up Roger Powell like numbers in the D-League.

Thats the one thing that worries me about the DL. Because if these players dont have the right mentality down there it doesnt teach them anything. Thats why the only DL success story you every hear about are Azubuike, Watson, Mikki Moore etc. I have yet to see any NBA assigned player get significantly improved down there (besides an ego and confidence boost).

I honestly think that was a great benefit to not send Brewer there. He rode the pine all year and it made him want to work really hard over the summer. But we will have to wait and see what Mo and CJ do this off season.

I like Almond, I am not surprised he is upset, and he should be. Went to 4 years of college, earned his stripes and still doesn't get much of a chance despite putting up good numbers.

You can't complain about a guy putting up good numbers in the D-League either, he is only doing what he can against the situation they put him in. I think it's a good thing.

He'll find his place on this team because CJ will be gone this offseason and the Jazz will be happy with the selection.

Where do you think he'll go, and for how much?
