So who would we most like to see just screw up the rest of the season and fall out of the playoffs.?

You didn't have to make a poll about this.. easy answer, Blazers.

No, I would be giddy with joy to see San Antonio fall out of the playoff race. Not only are they the team we should most fear, they are the team that pisses me off the most, both because of how good they are and because of the way they shamelessly manipulate the refs.
But I would be just as psyched to see LA, Denver, GS or Houston drop out.

I would choose LA. I am afraid of Phil and Kobe come playoff time. I actually would welcome a rematch w/ the Spurs in the WCF. I think we are primed to beat that team and earn ourselves a chance to win the whole thing...

There wouldn't be anything better than seeing Tmac not make the playoffs this year. After being a total tool in the series with the Jazz, nothing made me happier than seeing him cry in that press conference.

I picked the "Thuggets" because I just hate the Nuggets more then any other team in the NBA.

Nuggets seem to be fine. They don't implode any time soon. They have better chemistry than last year with Carmelo and AI being out of the squad for most the year. Also Kmart is back, Camby with career season, Kleiza is rising as the third leading scorer, Anthony Carter has been the pleasant surprise for Karl, and JR Smith barely ever gets any playing time. Jazz, Cavs, and Nugs have been the best teams in the NBA in 2008.
Lakers I hardly see how they can implode, because just like us, Fisher kept us alive for most of the time. They have more points per game than we do. Now they have second go to guy in Gasol, Bynum has risen as a defensive and offensive, now they have a deep bench with Radmanovic, Turiaf, Walton, Vujacic, and Farmar, and best of all, Kobe is leading with the right attitude. Lets remember that Phil Jackson is a HoF coach, not future, but already was awarded HoF.
Funny that people also then target the Rockets, who have been blazing hot, specially when Tmac is there but playing least. Yao Ming is now the face of the Rockets franchise and not Tmac anymore and they are just barely one step in and out of the playoffs.
Spurs with Stoudamire are falling apart although got hot in the middle of the rodeo trip, and Blazers are doing what they were expected to do as the youngest team in the NBA, losing constantly as of late.

I would love to see something happen and the Lakers fall out of contention because frankly that team scares me.
Nuggets second.

Come on people. The Lakers are a very scary team and all, but come on. If you didn't choose the Spurs you truly aren't a Jazz fan. The Jazz have a chance at beating LA, but when it comes to SA our chances are slim to none. The Spurs haven't changed at all since they owned us last year in the playoffs, where the Lakers have changed, but haven't yet proven that they can beat us. IMO the Lakers are just the type of team the the Jazz can beat. We have good matchups on them, and I'm still way more scared of the Spurs.

I couldn't agree more, being that I want the jazz to go far in the playoffs, that is contingent on them not playing the spurs. The other teams I think the jazz have a good chance of beating on any given night. The spurs own us in SA, and I would say in general. Of course, they are least likely to implode.........

I actually think the Spurs are finally getting past their point of being super competetive.
They seem very beatable to me, they make more mistakes then ever, their injuries have been brutal and you can't help but question the abilities of guys like Brent Barry and Michael Finley as they age.

Yeah, but this happens every season. They don't care what happens during the regular season as long as they make the playoffs, and they they start caring and dominate. Its almost as if they can win at will.

Most definitely the Spurs. It won't happen, but it would make me giddy if it did. Of course, they would probably end up winning the lottery, because that how they roll.

I voted the Thuggets, I hate that over priced team. They are going the dallas route of trying to buy the championship. Wouldnt it be great to see them fail to make the playoffs after paying some huge penalty for being over the cap.
If San Antonio fails to make the playoffs, we all know they would just end up with a number 1 pick and be back for the next decade.
You cant respect San Antonio when they threw away the season for the Duncan pick.

I hate the Spurs, I hate the Lakers, and I hate the Rockets. I agree Spurs seem beatable as do the rockets but Lakers are scary now.
