Things I learned at the Flash game last night..

First Flash game I attended - had with the following observations...
1. The games are a lot of fun, and cheap. I got 4 tix for a total of $16 at Bajio's, and we sat 4 rows off of the court.
2. The Flash try really hard to win over the fan base, they gave away more than a hundred t-shirts and lots of other swag. They have a great area for kids to play as well. Way too many empty seats though in the gym. Free parking, some concessions are about 1/2 as expensive as they are at the Jazz games.
3. Autographs after the game with Morris Almond and John Millsap. Very nice. Apparently, that's done after every game.
4. Almond really has a pretty shot, but with Korver, Miles and Brewer all ahead seems destined to play in Orem a lot over the next year and a half.
5. Fess just isn't full-time NBA ready yet (at least based on last night's game). He didn't dominate against Lance Allred (Weber State) or Sene (the Sonics lottery pick from a couple of years ago). He did have a double-double last night, but didn't overly impress me. Apparently, this was his first double figure game in the last 5 or 6. He's still really young, and clearly talented, but just not a lot of evident progress as of yet.
6. I feel even more stupid for wanting the Jazz to have drafted Sene or Redick over Brewer. Sene is tall and long-armed but not very talented - I don't see him making to the NBA at all. I'm glad we settled for Ronnie
7. I don't see Kevin Kreuger making it out of the NBDL.
8. Kind of fun to see players that have played with the Jazz or on their summer camp roster - Livingston, Violette, John Millsap etc. Kind of surprised that Spencer Nelson isn't in the NBDL - probably making more money in Europe, though.
