Interesting bit on Fesenko during Thorpe's chat

Excerpt from David Thorpe's chat on ESPN Insider today:

http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/chatESPN?event_id=19265

AK-47: Fasenko is better than Collins, why doesn't he come up, or is D-league good for him? How much can you help him improve over the summer?

David Thorpe: D league is perfect for him this year. We wanted him to play there rather than sit in SLC. After this summer, you won't recognize him.

Sounds Like Fes and Thorpe plan on spending the summer making Fes into a real NBA baller. I'm glad Fesenko is taking the steps to work with someone to develop himself and not just waiting for the Jazz to do it. It shows he is serious about becoming a player. Who knows if it will pan out, but I like the effort.

There's a few other funn bits about Fes in that chat, too: he talks about Boozer and he called Thorpe when he was selected to the D-League All-Star squad.

If Fess develop a bit, Collins become expendable: i think we can trade him to a team who need a vet big guy, for a 2nd round pick (and we save some money)
